Female teacher drags male child more than 100 feet down school hallway

Video report here. So what do you think of this? More and more it rather seems schools are hostile towards boys. It may be true that the little boy was misbehaving but what do you want to bet there would be outrage if a male teacher had done this to a female child regardless of "reasons"?

I'm going to reserve judgement on this one. I am not one to usually side with school policy and teachers, as I had a terrible school experience that effected me so much that I decided to homeschool my own kids.

However, my brother and I were 'foster kids' before we were adopted and we came into my parents home with a shitload of behavioral problems. We were kicked out of pre-school and my mom said our temper tantrums embarrassed her in public on many occasions. She also said many people came up to her to give her unsolicited parenting advise even though they had no idea of the whole realm of the situation. Thankfully my parents were able to give us the type of parenting and professional help that we needed, but correcting our bad behavior was a slow process.

I also know that many household breed a disrespect for authority and/or they drop their un-disciplined kids off at school for the schools to discipline.

Anyway, I can think of several reasons why a 1st grade child may need to be physically removed against their will. It does not look like the child is being hurt or in pain, and it looks like he could have decided to get up and walk if he wanted to.

I do agree that schools are a hostile place for boys, and MRA's need to be concerned. It would be interesting to know what led up to this boy needing to be removed.
