I would not dispute that this is a kind of "victory" for unwed fathers seeking to establish paternity, custody, or even merely fair visitation with their presumed children.
But what this Appelate Court ruling did was just create two or more years of legal process that entails --
- Jesus (the petitioning dad) gets to undergo psychiatric tests up the ying-yang to determine if he's a decent man and qualified to be a custodial father
- a paternity test will be mandated. His baby's-momma has a track record of promiscuity, so he faces at least a 33% chance he's NOT the biological dad
- the appelate judge ruled that ALL issues related to the permanent plan for the child's well-being and custodial assignment must be reconsidered
Bottom line, Jesus' baby may well be in high school before all the legal parasites are done feeding on this case.
(It was fun to read the appelate judge rip the feminazi judge a new one by damning her reasoning as well as her inefficiency, and reassigning the case to another judge. In the rarified decorum of the legal system, that qualifies as a full facial!)

Yeah, I agree. The requirement that he prove his fitness before having access to his child is just another layer of misandry. Also, even though I do see this case as a victory, I posted and sent it around more in terms of outrage at feminist judge S. Patricia Spear. It's just confirming of many of the reports we get from men about how a number of these judges are. Yes I'm very happy the appellate court ripped up Judge S. Patricia Spear's reactionism and bigotry, but my main reaction is anger at this judge. NCFM-LA is submitting this case to the Commission on Judicial Performance and requesting that feminist Judge S. Patricia Spear be disciplined or removed.

It's always nice when justice can be pursued...
and the billable hours are infinite, yes?
"Justice" has become a racketeering industry, better than anything the Mafia ever imagined back in the boot-legging, prostitution, gambling shoot-em-up eras...
Too bad the old gangsters missed the opportunity for real easy money.
Oh, wait a minute ---
All their sons and grandsons are in Congress now!
Those old guys were real smart, and knew how to finesse a con-job.
They decided to call it "democracy" after much private discussion.
