Virginia Men Cleared of Rape with DNA Testing

	If you haven't seem the Innocence Project web site yet, please take a look. The number of men who have been railroaded into jail on flimsy evidence for the crime of rape is truly heartbreaking, and DNA testing that exonerates them is showing "The System's" routinized knee-jerk anti-male bigotry for what it is. Most recent news of DNA testing-based exonerations is here. Excerpt: He wasn't always that resolute. He remembers saying over and over to himself the night he was convicted: "I am innocent. I am not a rapist." It was a refrain he would repeat in the coming years in handwritten letters to judges and lawyers and advocates for those wrongly imprisoned. Thurman said he trusted the criminal justice system; he said he believed it wouldn't fail him. But in the end, it did, he said, and his only choice was to carry out his sentence in silence.

Marital Rape In Virginia (Score:2) by Luek on 03:22 PM December 23rd, 2005 EST (#1) DNA is a life saver for men literally but Virginia has a tough marital rape law, i.e. "if she said you did it YOU DID IT!" In Virginia, if wifie poo doesn't like you anymore and wants to do a real number on you then she can have sex with you and then 911 you and file a marital rape charge. Now prove, even though you did have sex, you did not rape the bitch! How can you do it?

Trust the justice system? (Score:1) by Davidadelong on 10:27 PM December 23rd, 2005 EST (#2) I looked at the sight previously, and it is a good thing that DNA is being used to free framed Men. But, DNA is a double edged sword. My Daughter has been keeping me informed of a case in Wisconsin where some guy was released due to DNA testing for rape. He has since been framed again to protect the county and state from being sued. He was framed this time for a murder, they found "his DNA" in the girls car, and the body on his property in a 50 gallon drum, burned beyond recognition. Further investigation has raised the question as to a frame up. I do not trust the justice system, I do not trust the empires that our tax dollars have built, for they all have been built on deception, and the sweat and blood of the tax payers. Just look what the system did to Christ, and he was just a rabble rouser against the then current "system".
