Corporal Punishment

	David Hill writes "I was just wanting to let this men’s group know about the horrible corporal punishment that men are subjected to everyday around the world. Remember Singapore this horrible torturous humiliating practice is done only to men. It can not be done to a women for any reason even if she breaks the same law. Check out World Corporal Punishment Research, there are literally thousands of countries that practice caning and it is done to only one sex ours. Women can not have it happen to them even when they break the same law. It is a horrible humiliating practice they do it across the buttocks just like in school its only us that gets spanked. This is a very serious issue that should be addressed if women have a higher pain tolerance than men why is this horrible punishment done only to men? In Singapore in particular women are on equal footing as men but still this horrible practice is only for us as it also is. If women and men are equal then why is this horrible practice only reserved for one sex?" Ed. note: It's not true to say only males are caned or spanked in official and non-official forms of punishment. It is true however to say the vast majority of people abused this way are men and boys and the public's stomach for it is much larger when it is males at the end of the cane. Same goes of course for all manner of punishment, including the death penalty.

It causes a wound so large that in some cases stitches are needed to close the wound. Whether or not the stitching is provided along with the caning, i do not know. but I doubt it. And just as is stated this is done to men and boys ONLY. Gee, where are the feminists crying out for equality on THIS ONE?   Oh, that's right feminism has NOTHING to do with equality. I also have to wonder how much of this form of torture is sexual. To a lot of women and wussie-poopie (latently homosexual) males this sort of sadistic torture is arousing.   Thundercloud.   "Hoka hey!"

Being sexually aroused by caning has nothing to do with being "latently homosexual" or "wussie-poopie". What someone does in bed is completely separate, there are plenty of masochistic feminists and MRAs (as well as all kinds of other people) that are rather dominant in real life. In fact, there was an unsuccesful attempt by feminists to have BSDM-porn with women posing as the 'victim' outlawed in the late 90s, and it caused such fierce opposition from masochistic women of the S&M scene that the leading politician driving forward the bill said she was shocked about the harshness of personal attacks against her. It's also totally inappropriate to compare the brutal judical caning to S&M play. Yes, the cane cuts the flesh badly and leaves permanent scars. Comparing that to sexual play is like comparing playing cops and robbers to actually getting shot.

There might be a few people who enjoy getting their buttocks cut open with a stinging pain that makes one almost lose consciousness. There are also people who like getting their genitals completely cut off. But such rare pathological cases still have nothing to do with the usual consensual SM play, and you did seem to direct your comment on that sexual minority (actually not so minor at all given the latest studies).

Would we want that done to us? Even the removal of an individual by using the death penalty should be considered this way. As most of the people that have spent the majority of their lives behind bars will attest, most would rather have been humanely "put down" instead of being used as a means of providing jobs to other people. Besides that, consider the mentality of the individuals that make their living off of being the keepers of other human beings. I hear that the psychological problems and stress has a very detrimental affect on the majority of them, so their job is actually helping to shorten their life span. I for one will do whatever I can to remove the Slave- master mentality from around me. Notice I capitalized Slave, that is because we are the majority. Do Unto Others, As You Would Have Done Unto YOU!
