Polygamy (Score:0) by Anonymous User on 12:34 PM June 27th, 2005 EST (#1) I don't oppose people's right to polygmay where it's purely consentual (and, of course, if children are not mistreated like here). But what I find most tiring is the way opponents of polygamy relentlessly talk about the harm to women but never about the harm to men, particularly the fact that the ones who lose out the most are men who are poor and wind up with nothing and nobody. And now here's yet another detriment to males that at least some cases of polygamy (though I doubt all or even most) are causing to males, and which opponents of polygamy will probably raise without emphasizing gender like they would certainly do if this were happening to girls. It's always women-women-women, and they are constantly playing off of the protect-women instinct that's hard-wired into males. Marc A.

Cruelty to children ! (Score:1) by Gang-banged on 09:59 PM June 27th, 2005 EST (#2) (User #1714 Info) Much of this story . . is the same as the whole TV programme about same which aired over a year ago here in the UK. Also reported then, was boys who sought anything other normal boys expected ie going to college, etc was enough to have them evicted. Further, that none of the boys possessed any knowledge or skills that would equip them to a life away from the Sect. Is it not strange that the police and Social Services have not earlier found something to prosecute the Sect on ?

At least 50,000 Iranian boys died during the war with Iraq. If they were not gassed, exposed to chemical agents, or killed by land mines. Males are disposable in all cultures. Just more cruelly in some. Hilliary Clinton paragon of Male compassion made a statement about the Treatment of Women and children during the war in Kosovo. She neglected to mention Sbrenecia and the Men and Boys massacred by the Serbs and their Paramilitary thugs. Males are disposable to FemNags that's why.
