Looking forward to some action in the US. The feminazis will probably try to infiltrate it and destroy it, but I think they'll fail.

The femborg never sleeps. Not only will there be a backlash to F4J, but the fems always strike preemptively.
When the non-binding referendum on shared parenting met with 85% success where it was on the ballot in Massachusetts, feminist columnists were not long in questioning the results of the ballot.
New York State has the meanest, most activist feminazis in the nation and grants women sole custody 95% of the time. If one reads between the lines of their proposals for the Dec 3-5 conference, one comes away with the impression that they are not only attempting to redefine the issue before it reaches the public eye, but it clearly outlines their contingency plan: how they will proceed even if they lose.
Could one wave a magic wand and instantly make a rebuttable presumption of joint physical and legal custoedy the law of the land there would still be problems. The most obvious backlash would be a glut in the courts of feminist-inspired abuse and molestation cases, cases which would tend to grant women instant temporary custody. Of course, we all know that "temporary" custody almost always becomes permanent custody.
Our only defense against such an excorable tactic is to somehow make frivolous accusations a ground for immediate forfeiture of custody. Good luck with that. It hasn't worked in deliberately false rape accusations, and here it would have to clear the temporary custody hurdle.
While F4J's entrance on the American landscape is call for rejoice, it also means we have to double and redouble our efforts because the feminists do NOT take anything lying down.
Perhaps in anticipation of the F4J we can spearhead an information campaign. Nothing frightens the femborg like the possibility that the American public may one day find out the extent to which they've been lied to. Then we'll really see a backlash.

The link you included above is here .
It works. I just checked it, and it is terrifying to see such bold face villification of men with the legal system as a part of it.
Sorry, I know how to code it, but I forgot how to write it so that you can see the coding.

I found it interesting that Ms. Renee Beeker, a keynote speaker hysterically alleging with no documentation whatsoever that the Family Courts are systemically anti-women, is the Chair of Michigan's NOW Child Custody Family Law Task Force.
Just a couple months ago, Glenn Sacks put the spotlight on Michigan's anti-father billboard campaign, the infamous PayKids "contest," where the state's Attorney General Mike Cox encouraged custodial mothers to have their kids draw and submit anti-father billboard designs.
The NY conference needs to be taken seriously as an early indicator of feminist strategy to mobilize and resist the growing father's right's movement.
If you read her summary of the presentation Ms. Beeker will be giving, it's essentially a rejection of any limitations on a woman's right to use her children as a means of extorting money from men.
And the fantasy image she conjurs of breast-feeding mothers being court-ordered to turn their suckling babies over to fathers for "visitation" is beneath contempt... though it shows how low feminist ideologues will stoop to create fear in their captive female target audience.
When feminist crap like this pisses me off, I usually go into "research mode," and try to ferret out the truth.
Three worthwhile articles can be found at these links --
(1) What Women Want?
http://www.weberrific.org/2004/11/what-women-want. html
(Excerpt) - "...there is a huge systemic sickness that has spread across this country resulting in the failure to protect the rights of
women, and therefore the needs of children" (quote from Ms. Beeker) - emphasizing the familiar positions that men's rights are not related to the needs of children, and that it is woman-and-children, not men-and-women-and-children that these people are concerned about. Unsurprising.
(2) Throwaway Dads – by Dennis G. Vatis
http://www.michbar.org/journal/article.cfm?article ID=329&volumeID=22
(Excerpt) - "The domestic relations forum is an unfair arena for fathers in Michigan. Statistics bear witness to what many practicing attorneys have known for years—that mothers usually get custody of the children and fathers usually get to visit the children. The United States and Michigan constitutions each provide that no one shall be deprived of the equal protection of the law. The Fourteenth Amendment of the United States Constitution explicitly provides that no state shall deprive a person of life, liberty, or property without due process of law, or deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the law. Yet fathers in Michigan are being denied equal protection and due process and are being deprived of custodial rights to their children. Equal justice under the law is an illusory legal concept in the domestic relations arena."
(3) Rep. Bill Wood, NC - Testimony in House Ways & Means Committee
http://waysandmeans.house.gov/hearings.asp?formmod e=view&id=954#_ednref6
(Excerpt) - "Instead of our constitutionally guaranteed "Republican form of government," we now have a thoroughly entrenched Marxist Communist judiciary in the civil court system masquerading as "family law." America’s family law courts are no longer about the law, they represent complete perversions of numerous legal maxims and common law traditions that American law was founded upon.... The reprehensible evil of being rewarded for one’s wrongs, and of punishing the innocent have been firmly entrenched in the state’s family courts."
Ms. Beeker is a skilled feminist idiot savaant of "DoubleThink...." the art of using language to distort, conceal, and impede the truth.
Brought to you courtesy of V.A.W.A.'s $3.6 billion dollar about-to-be-reauthorized federal budget appropriation.

"...hysterically alleging with no documentation whatsoever that the Family Courts are systemically anti-women..."
Roy:
I do promise to go back and read the rest of your post, but you nailed it in the 1st sentence. I have found, that often when you attend meetings like this, you get a lot of "antecdotal information," that they expect you to take as gospel, often along with some inaccurate (skewed) statistics, and just downright msinformation. It's all chocked up to "women's ways of knowing," intuition and the like, and is considered by them as superior to the oppresive patriarchal constructed knowledge gotten from logic and reason.
WOW!
The old Forest Gump axiom would never be more true, than when attending one of these radical/gender feminist affairs, "Stupid is as stupid does."
