Abusive women

News Mangesh writes "This article is from Malaysia. Particularly good in the opening. It starts with some historical perspective on violent behavior by women - from Catherine II to Lynndie England. It also mentions that violence by wives against their husbands is quite common in Malyasia, but men don't report it because they are ashamed to admit what happened to them, and that women abuse children as much as (or maybe more than) men do. The later part is somewhat disappointing. It offers a number of explanations (excuses) for femal violent behavior. It seems that the media in diffrent parts of the world has begun to report on violence by women and/or against men. Surly a good sign! here"

I don't know if this is happening around the country or just localy in my state. (Indiana) But
There is a new campaign in the media about domestic violence and "Shattering the silence" of it, as they say. While the ads don't mention either gender as the "culpret" of DV (ie MEN) the images they show are ALL of women being abused by, you geussed it, an eeeevviiill male!

I remember at one time the feminists would say that; "Domestic violence against women is America's best kept secret."
Oh, really? then what would you call DV against MEN?!?

The principal is really quite simple and quite contradictory to Feminist thinking....penises are uniquely male....assholes are another matter.

Well, at least this proves that DV against men is not an isolated cultural thing particular to some individual societies but a universal problem.
And also women being the prime or equal abusers of children trancends cultures too it seems.

Would the UN be interested in this? Probably not since they are so caught up in proclaiming Years of the Woman and other female gender centric feel good campaigns. What a waste the UN is!

One expert quoted in the article stated - "In Western countries, where most women live in nuclear families and have a weaker support system, they often snap under the intense pressure of caring for their newborn, juggling household chores and sometimes even a job."

Oh the poor dears... "sometimes" EVEN A JOB!

It's well documented that women have far more extensive social support systems than do men, i.e. more friends, more frequent contact with extended family members, and let's not forget the vast array of resources available to women only, courtesy of the Nanny State's hundreds of "helping" agencies, commissions, and special services.

When women abuse, it's because they're victimized by a "lack of support."

When men abuse, it's because they're evil, oppressive perpetrators of patriarchy.

Same old same old laundered feminist screed.
