Male sweat relaxes women

News Philalethes writes "According to Nature , 'Male underarms relax women and may make them more fertile.' Just thought we ought to know. Can we forward this to that 'Explain to me again why I need a man' bumpersticker babe?"

How exquisitely politically incorrect! [grin]

The sisterhood must either be swooning or working themselves up into a lather over the scent of this story.

I think I overheard one saying, "This news stinks. It's really the pits!"

Hey, don't sweat it, sister.

I wouldn't be surprised if they found a similar reaction the other way too. There's something about the scent of my woman... mmmmm (and I'm not talking about perfume either, since my wife rarely wears any).

Of course. There've been no end of articles in such obscure venues as Time magazine all about how pheromones in both sexes rule our relationships. I found this article particularly amusing after several days of being bicycled by the fishes over at "ifeminists" for my insistence that the two human sexes are ... well, two parts of the same species, and would be wiser to cooperate in addressing our common problems rather than flinging barbs of hate over a mostly artificial divide.
