"Commitment-phobia" = Sanity?

Divorce Martian Bachelor writes "In the light of Betty F.'s recent death, and all the subsequent reports about how much women's lives have changed, I thought this was a bit of a reality check...

From "Divorce settlements: B.A.C.K.L.A.S.H."

'The lawyer responsible for one of Britain's most influential divorce settlements has told The Independent on Sunday she 'would not blame men' for deciding not to marry if a divorce settlement before the House of Lords is not overturned.'"

The Law Commission is conducting a review analysing a series of proposals to give a level of protection to the two million unmarried couples in England and Wales. A consultation paper is to be published in April.

Who didn't see that coming. Men refuse to marry these greedy sluts who seem to believe that spreading your legs once or twice is worth millions and a huge chunk of the man's future income.

Now marriage won't even be required. Big surprise. Net effect: a whole lot less people living together. Big Sister will be very pleased.

I can't wait until some feminist government decides that men who "won't commit" (i.e. by fucking one of these bandits) should be taxed so all womyn can have a free ride.

Let me get this straight. This female lawyer secures a truly vile settlement, then turns around and states that she couldn't blame men for not liking this?

Sorry. This woman is no hero. She's just barely smart enough to sense a tidal wave and is attempting some CYA.

What was it that one of the men posts here as a tagline? "the good that men do, does them no good..." Hopefully we can rewrite this line in the future.

Okay. Let's see.
If I get married I stand the chance of being accused of abuse, I'll likely lose my house, all my money, possibly my job and security AND my children.
If I DON'T get married, none of that is too likely to happen.

Gee what choice do I make...? (sarcasm)
...and she can't blame men for "not liking this".
DUH, you doorknob bimbette. Put the shoe on your foot. Would YOU like it??!??
Oh, yes, I can see that she is a smart, thoughtful individual. (sarcasm again)

In this country the Men that have witnessed and experienced the current political means of oppression are opting for different life styles. Most are going against what comes natural for them in order to survive. This may in fact promote a semblance of sanity, but not living naturally causes even more problems, a catch 22 eh what? Anyway it SUCKS ALL OVER, doesn't it?

Glad you posted the Martian Batchelor Science web link. Very, very good. I read the part called Batchelor quotes and the best one I found was this man's definition of "commitment phobia" - CHEATING SOME WOMAN OUT OF A DIVORCE!
