MANN comments quoted in Star Tribune!
posted by Hombre on 10:23 PM May 9th, 2005
The Media The lace curtain is weakening! Both Ray and Tumescent had comments on this site that were quoted, (althought Tumescent wasn't named), in Sunday's edition of the Star Tribune. This refreshing article about the double standards in the Willbanks incident, (AKA, the runaway bride), talks about the reaction from men on the net.

"Does anyone else in this country see a pattern of lying by females about crimes against them?" asked a man named Ray in an online news posting."

"One man
[Tumescent] predicted Monday that "now it's time for all the psychobabblers to come out of the woodwork to give us a laundry list of 'issues' and 'syndromes' to excuse this spineless Cinderella's actions. Maybe all the desperate housewives out there will see her on 'Oprah' real soon.""

We're making waves guys, keep it up!

Well, well, well, ...I finally got my 15 minutes of fame. I'm selling autographs at the mall in case anyone is interested. Just kidding...

I've already had my 15 minutes of fame before this. I could care less about fame. You're lucky if that an 50 cents will get you a cup of coffee, but if I'm not "infamous" among radical/gender feminist circles I'll just have to keep writing the truth about their evil man-hating agenda. The clock is ticking.

Congratulations to Mensactivism for once again being a major driving force in supporting equal justice for all, especially males who've been lagging badly behind the curve. Hats off to Tunescent. I salute you. Lastly, what would Mensactivism be without all the other great folks who post here? I even like the trolls. I welcome representatives of the blundering, illogical stupidity of the radical/gender feminist agenda to hone our debating skills on.

Sincerely, Ray

"At least we understand that law and journalism continue to work hard so that nothing destroys our society's modus operandi, "man accountable, Woman unaccountable," Woman good, man bad."

I don't know if that statement stung the news media into being more "fair and balanced" (from a gender perspective) in reporting this story or not.

We've got a long way to go before men get fair coverage in today's "biased as hell" news media, since men are the majority of victims of violent crime, and all you hear on TV news is female victim, female victim. Does this leave any doubt that sensational news has become the forte' of mainstream media as they follow the financial success and public approval of the tabloids (yellow journalism)? Does anyone have any doubts that mainstream media prostituted (sold out) its "gender objectivity" a decade or so ago, all for the best interest of political correctness and selling the damned news?

Let us go on stinging the biased (man-hating) mainstream news media! Kudos to RADAR (Respecting Accuracy in Domestic Abuse Reporting) as well.

It's pretty amazing when you stop and see that you often find more truth about gender related issues at Mensactivism, then you do at large metropolitan newspapers. Perhaps there is still a place for logic and reason, when trying to "objectively" report the news without the ususal mainstream media, gender feminist bias.

Check this out:- eBay auction

This sadly (and funnily) sums up this whole situation. Wonder if they will make her cough up the mis-spent $40,000 - $60,000?
