Severe beating by the growing police state
posted by Matt on 09:06 PM April 19th, 2005
Inequality CJ writes "Here is a disgusting display of police brutality. This man is clearly guilty of his crime but LOOK at the beating this man took while in custody. His face is so severely beaten the police made him wear a mask to court. Although this isn't a feminist inspired attack on men's civil rights like most articles here, it illustrates the fact the the U.S. has become a police state. The police and the legal system (as driven by polorized agrendas from the left and right) is out of control. Civil liberties erode as martial law takes over out land."

Ed note: This is indeed a men's issue. While having no sympathy for the suspect as such, do you think the suspect would have been beaten like that had he been a she?

You better start having big big sympathy for every convict, death-row inmate, prisoner, jailee, homeless man, drugee, rough sleeper, hosteller, road sweeper, bricklayer, divorced man, artisan, engineer, parolee, ex-con etc and every other man no matter his sin or virtue.

The only criteria you can allow yourself to recognise politicaly, in as much as it may be distastfull to you or I, is the subjects gender.

A revolution is at hand that will see every prison, jailhouse and bondoogle emptied of its men by virtue of their gender alone. Afterwards comes the question of restitution for the 800 million men of the west facing slavery and extortion today.

This link is to a story about how the state of Texas may have killed an innocent man for allegedly killing his 3 daughters in an arson fire. However, the methods used to confirm this case of arson have now been discredited.

The point is that no one is held responsible when these state atrocities happen like the state killing an innocent man or years of false imprisonment for rape.

All that will happen is someone speaking for the state will say how unfortunate such mistakes happen but so what?

Yes, if it were a woman who was accused of this arson/murder she may have been convicted but she would have been alive today. Or better still get off by playing the temporary insanity card like a woman did recently in Texas when she killed her two sons with a rock.

She woulda used her body to get off of suspicion, and then instead of killing the cop she would have had him charged with sexual assult.

Either way, I think the guy got what he deserved. Only a moron would kill a cop in the middle of a police station *or Tim Hortons* and think they could get away without a beating, Man OR woman, of course if it were a woman, the male cops woulda done something more humiliating than beating her to a pulp. They have a brother/sisterhood in the police department. Kill one of their own, you deserve what you get.

I suppose you could say this qualifies as a "mens issue". As my consciousness of gender issues has developed ( through mensactivism), I can legitimately see mens rights issues in virtually every facet of life. Still, if I were a murder suspect and I disarmed and killed a policeman in a police station, I'd still feel pretty lucky if I ended up with just two black eyes.

Keep in mind he murdered a cop in a Police Station. Then broke out a window to escape, resisted arrest and fought with officers. This included a State Trooper, and a Federal Agent. Sorry no sympathy for this Skank. It is like seeking sympathy for Terrorists who fight our troops. No sympathy here.

He made a really bad series of decisions. It is a simple matter of cause and effect. He is still alive after all. He had just killed an officer.
