Boeing employees raise Stonecipher questions
posted by Matt on 04:37 PM March 10th, 2005
Inequality bandersnatch writes "From USA Today, Boeing on Tuesday issued a brief notice to all employees that said "many employees" have questioned why the female executive remains with the company while Stonecipher was forced to resign. It's good to see individuals in the workplace (usual awash in femnazi HR policies) asking this exact question. After all, if it was violation of company ethics for Stonecipher to have an affair. How come it's not one for the female executive in question?"

One way or the other she cannot survive this. She would be completely ineffective at work even if she weren't fired. She probably hasn't quit yet because she sees the possibility of a lawsuit down the road. She's no dummy; she's in a protected class. One would think this is a no brainer for the company. Doesn't her action, being in a position of power and responsibility, requir her NOT to sleep with boss and bring all this attention and embarrassment to her employer? After all, it got her boss fired for those same reasons. I'm sure Boeing is simply being careful and loading the gun with as many bullets as possible because if they don't, they will have to explain themselves in court. This is why a man should limit his contact with women co-workers. There is no upside to having any sort of relationship with them at work, romantic or otherwise.
