It occurs to me that this may have been Scott Peterson's motive, too. And as sick as it is, it may well be true, given how California treats non-custodial fathers. Hell, they might just as well be in prison.

The Alan Guttmacher Institute has found that no reason is more important to women contemplating abortion than money! ("Why do Women have Abortions", Aida Torres and Jacqueline Darroch Forrest, Family Planning Perspectives, 20(4) Jul/Aug 1988, pp 169-176)

Bonny Lee Bakley, Chandra Levy and Rae Carruth's girlfriend might all be alive today if there was one iota of doubt over whether they'd be rewarded with child support no matter how they tricked or trapped someone into parenthood.

I just say a bumper sticker on a L.A. County vehicle the other day, advertising "Save Haven Abandonement" of babies for women. The program and the bumper sticker are all paid for by the taxpayers. Robert Blake was/is a resident of L.A. County.

Ray, unless my English grammar betrays me, the correct words on your T-shirts should be "men's" and "women's".
