Ah yes, the feminists have yet another way to be a victim. Now it's Bush who will victimize them for the next 4 years and articles such as this will paint them as victim underdogs. blah blah blah. More and more people are starting to call them on their crap. Listen to this:

The Rev. Jerry Falwell, for example, recently referred to NOW as "The National Order of Witches"
LOL!
It wasn't long ago that printing something like this would have been for unthinkable. Slowly their power is eroding.

Speak out publically about this. The more we each speak out the quicker their demise. They need to be seen for the bigots they are.

At the same time, if troglodytes like Falwell would just give up trying to outlaw abortion, NOW would lose the only issue that most of its membership cares about, without which they'd lose their influence.

Instead we get stupidity like this law proposed in Virginia insuring that NOW will never fade off into the fringes and lose relevancy.

While I am glad that Rev. Jerry Falwell insulted the NOW, bear in mind that anti-feminist does not mean pro-male. For example, these religious leaders would still ban women from combat and (presumably) support the draft of men. It is these religious leaders who rally around the Iraq War which has claimed 1300 American lives (most of which are men). The religious right is also not beneath garnering female support for the pro-life cause by bashing men (i.e., claiming that it is irresponsible MEN that cause unwanted pregnancy and therefore abortion). The religious right has never taken a stand on violence against men, paternity fraud (a bigger threat to the family than gay marriage), gender gaps in health, longevity, education, and prison. They still believe in the traditional double standards that disfavor men.

The religious right is not our friend.

Referring collectively to conservative Republican leaders, Gandy said: "They like women just fine — as long as we know our place, which is preferably under a man's protection.

If there was ever a hypocritical statement to come from a feminist's lips, that's it. If it wasn't for "men's protection", feminists wouldn't have their precious female-only DV shelters.

If it wasn't for "men's protection", women wouldn't have their genitals protected by law while little boys get mutilated every day.

If it wasn't for "men's protection", breast cancer research wouldn't receive one penny more than prostate cancer research.

If it wasn't for "men's protection", women would be drafted to military service, just like men are.

Gandy would be crying and gnashing her teeth if men suddenly decided to stop "protecting women". Those same conservative, chivalrous males which Gandy pretends to hate are the very ones who make her life a helluva lot easier, and she knows it!

She doesn't want men to stop protecting women. She wants to have her cake and eat it too. She wants a timid little lapdog when it suits her, and she wants a ferocious attack dog when that suits her.

You want fucking equality, Ms. Gandy? Well then, practice what you preach and protect yourself. No more men's taxdollars going to your DV shelters. No more laws protecting your clits while boys get mutilated everyday. No more money going to breast cancer research while men die from prostate cancer. No more living in the lap of luxury while men are registering for Selective Service, which is something you'll probably never have to do.

You are woman, are you not Ms. Gandy? Well then, let's hear you roar.

I see this article continues to push the wage gap myth. That automaticaly makes me suspicious that the writer of the article is biased.

And for abortion not to be a big issue for rad fems, they sure make a big issue out of it.

Also, notice that the femaroids don't care what polititions can do for the country as a whole, but only for what they can do for women, piriod.
If that isn't self-centered, self-serving and just plain selfISH, I don't know what is.

And why is it that it is made out that the only people that oppose feminists are CONSERVITIVES? I am an independant, myself, and I defineately oppose feminism.
And lastly, the feminists obviously don't get it. The reason Republicans keep whooping the Democrats is because the public is rejecting alot of what they see as "Democrat values" and one of those "values" is seen as radical feminism.
I don't know how accurate that mind set is, but I beleive that is one of the reasons.
Most radical feminists support Democratic candidates and are "radical leftists" themselves.
I am certain (but could be wrong) that part of the reason for Republican victories, of late, is the rejection by many, including many WOMEN of things like the feminist agenda. It was one of the reasons I personaly didn't vote for John Kerry. Remember his; "I will put justice back into the hands of women" speech? That alone was reason enough for me not to vote for him. I doubt I was alone in that sentiment.

I noticed the article quoted Christina Hoff Sommers, always a voice of anti-feminist truth-telling. The rad-gender-fems really hate her!

So, in her honor, here are few excerpts from a brief piece she wrote called "Ms. Information."

"Feminism in this country has become a parody of itself. We need a forward-looking movement, guided by common sense and fairness. Instead, we've got political correctness, victim politics and male-bashing. ...

I do not believe that women in American society are oppressed, or members of a subordinate class. It is no longer reasonable to say that as a group, women are worse off than men. The truth is that American women are among the freest in the world. And yet hearing me say that, there are women who wish to excommunicate me from my sex...

More women than men now go to college, for example. Yet for many women's studies professors and contemporary feminist leaders such good news is no news. The most vocal among them persist in complaining that the United States is a "patriarchy" that subordinates women. They have rejected the original "equity feminism" in favor of a more radical doctrine best termed "gender feminism. ...

Gender feminists take a very dim view of American society. In fact, the more things improve for women, the angrier their rhetoric grows. ...

Gender feminists continually spread fraudulent statistics, claiming, for example, that 80 percent of girls are sexually harassed at school and that "battery is the leading cause of injury to women in the United States."

This is just a small sample of the false and inflammatory news--call it Ms.information--that women's groups routinely disseminate and the media happily repeat. ...

If feminism is allowed to continue in this direction, we will soon be polarized along a fault-line of gender. What we need is a Third Wave of the women's movement, which would revive classic equity feminism and base itself on accurate information, common sense and fairness...

The women's movement has been hijacked by a small group of chronically offended gender feminists who believe that women are from Venus and men are from Hell. Women who value harmony between the sexes and who are concerned about the plight of subjugated women throughout the world will have to find a way to get the movement back. '

FemNazis, FemHags & FemNags same difference. The public is had their fill of the harpies. They can rot and burn in hell for the good of our culture. The Family and marriage is in trouble, they are fudging their membership records according to Tammy Bruce a former NOW leader herself. They are washed up has beens who need to get a life. I say we drop them by parachute into that paradise of tolerance, Yemen or better yet Saudi Arabia. Let them live under Sharia for awhile. They seem to think it is okay for the Women of the Middle East. Hypocrites thy name is Feminist.
