"What about the affect of having a larger corpus callosum? Well, many have observed that women often let emotion cloud their logic. And since that tissue connects what could be termed the logical and emotional halves of the brain, if its greater size means that there is in fact more interaction between the emotional and logical realms, it's not a huge leap to say that this may provide a scientific basis for that perception."

Actually logic/emotion is more of a front-to-back thing, not hemespheric. The left hemisphere is associated with language skills and organization, whereas the right is the more creative/intuitive side. Maybe the stonger link in women helps explain why women search for hidden meanings in words which (when spoken by men) generally don't exist.
But brain science is probably far more complex than even many scientists appreciate. I wouldn't take anything I, the author of the article, or anything discussed by journalists says on the subject very seriously.

This man speaks the truth--why DOES every scientific breakthrough nowadays have to paint men in bad light? There's obvious advantages men have over women, but it's become TABOO to say anything that will offend those "poor" women.

I have a perfect example of this kind of gonzo journalism.
A couple of years ago our local news, here (in Indianapolis) aired a "study" on men's and women's brains. They reported that as they age men's brains become smaller. They went on to imply that "Wow men are already dumb, therefore this means that they get dumber with age. Boy, men are dumb".
But they failed to mentinon that #1 brain size has NOTHING to do with intelligence (Einstien's brain was smaller than average) and #2 Men's brains were larger on average than that of females, to begin with.
If they HAD reported that then it would have implied that men are more intelligent than women until they begin to reach old age, and only then would men and women be equaly intelligent.
But that wasn't the end of it. Appearantly the station was flooded with complaints about the "findings" and so a retraction (of sorts) was made by our local media, in which they conceeded that men's brains, while they do shrink with age are larger than women's to begin with. and that brain size has nothing to do with intelligence.
My question being; "Why the hell didn't they report that in the first place??" Of course the ansewer is obvious. They have a feminist inspired agenda in nearly all media out-lets. Local or national, it is the same, by and large.

I hope we will soon see an end to this feminist junk science. We need to let the people of the Western world (and every where else) that they are the victims of nothing less than social engineering. And that is EXACTLY what it is.

Science has made a radical breakthough!

It may now be possible, as a result of this breakthrough to resolve or maybe even cure a long standing illness [insert your fav illness here] that has taken so much time to understand.

Of course research is at an early stage and further work needs to be done, but we are confident that in 4 or 5 years we will perhaps be able to extend this work and bring the results to the general public. [money wanted]

Remember....
1 - Do not stress benefits to men (oops no money)
2 - Stress benefits to women, here's the cheque
3 - Hope no one asks exactly what it is!

Double Standard, via Jay Leno (PLEASE READ!) (Score:1)

I barely recalled publicity in 2003, when scientists found something quite astonishing--that men bear the ability to produce eggs on their X chromosomes, meaning they could literally conceive without a female. There was a teeny article in TIME magazine, and barely anything else, as I searched on the web. Funny thing, late night TV is a good battleground for sex jokes, which of course are always biased against men: Anyway, I recall Jay Leno mentioning this in his monologue that "scientists believe in the future men can get each other pregnant" (the punchline wasn't offensive--it was just about do you call it a "bun in the oven" or not), but the audience reaction was cold, silent, even a few groans.
Now Flash forward to 2004, when scientists created a mouse with two genetic mothers, one being a mutant though. This was on CNN, Yahoo news, and even mentioned on a few political/comedy shows and radio. And yes, Jay Leno got to it too. When he mentioned that two females created this mouse, the audience cheered reasonably loud (the women mostly)...
Talk about a double standard. When men are benefited by scientific research, it's seen as unfair to women, but vice versa, it's empowering for women and the men simply deserve to be shafted.

Other articles from that site include "Why a Jew Supports Christian America" and "SpongeBob, Barney Promote Gay Tolerance".
