Woman uses Rohypnol to rob men
posted by Adam on 09:15 AM December 23rd, 2004
News AngryMan writes "London: A woman has been convicted of using the 'date-rape drug' Rohypnol to render men unconscious before robbing them. Are we going to start calling it the 'date-rob' drug? Is the media going to start a hysterical campaign warning men against 'date-robbery'? Don't hold your breath..."

"The jury took just 20 minutes to convict Hakki of causing Rohypnol to be taken, which carries a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.

She sobbed as her barrister, Bernard Eaton, told the court she had undergone 15 years of psychiatric treatment after an "unhappy childhood". His plea for her to be given bail so she could spend Christmas with her children, six and 12, was rejected by the judge. She will be sentenced on January 17.
"

At least the judge didn't just cave immediately to the bail request. Who wants to bet the sentence will be 'counselling' and 'time served?' Maybe some 'community service' if they're being harsh.

I seem to remember a similar story.
Some time back, didn't a women use Rohypnol on a man and then, when he was unconsious, she removed one of his kidneys?
