LOL.... well I feel for any man already married living there. Perhaps if such a law is passed and actually somehow upheld by the courts in India, what instead you will see is men simply leaving that part of the country in droves. Perhaps this is secretly what the authors of the bill want. In any case anyone with a real drinking problem will not stop drinking because he needs permission from his old lady. Anyone married man without one who also likes what can fairly be described as some semblance of liberty will simply leave the place, assuming he realizes what such a law implies or entails. The rest of the men will, if they still have an IQ left that hasn't been appropriated by Indian feminists, stay single.
But men should stay single anyway no matter where they live. I mean, after all, if women can do it and be proud of it as such (see for example http://www.luckyspinster.com ), so should men, right? ;)

Thomas-
I also find it nearly humorous, that the Democrats can't seem to understand WHY they keep loseing elections.
To me it seems simple. If you attack a large number of your voters, ...they AIN'T gonna vote for ya....!
The Democrat party has been attacking men for over three decades now. It doesn't make the news but men ARE getting fed up with it.
If either party (Democrats or Republicans) went on for thirty years about how awful American-Indians are, how they should lose what they have and should be denied constitutional and civil rights, while another group recieves preferential treatment and SPECIAL rights and privliges, does any one think we Indians would VOTE for them??!!?? Hell, no!
This is exactly what the Democrat party has been doing to men. And like I said, we're SICK of it.
Untill the Democrats get off the misandy horse, I ain't votein' for even ONE of 'em!
Thundercloud.
"Hoka hey!"
