Female Men's Rights Activist Is Number One
posted by Thomas on 04:24 PM October 28th, 2004
News Canadian Senator Ann Cools has been voted the top woman in the Toronto Sun's 10 Top Women poll. She's a men's rights activist.

Senator Cools received nearly 50% of the votes, mostly from men. Are men's rights activists starting to gain serious attention? You'd better believe it!

Ann Cools is a huge hero of mine. I consider her to have the virtues of Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King, and Mother Theresa, plus more. She deserves a Nobel Prize for Justice.

I just love news like this. Makes my day the way she even beat out that feminist. Years ago Cools personally accepted an annual award from NCFM for Excellence in the Advancement of Men's Issues. And this is in the country whose government called men's rights groups hate groups. I emailed this story to our local politicians in L.A.

She got 50% of the vote and all the other women comprised the other 50% of the vote. She even beat out a feminist who had been nomiated. The one thing politicians need more than anything is poplarity among the constituency. Let's hope other politicians take notice and follow her example in other countries as well as Canada.

You want to know something? She is not pandering to men, or women or any other group.

Do you know how I know this? Because senators are *not* elected in Canada, they are appointed by the Prime Minister for life (till retirement) ;).

Therefore she is fighting for equality because it is what she believes in, not mouthing it to get elected which just makes her all the more classy.

(Side comments) Judges aren't elected either, it makes things less partizan as what I see, with the cost of course of being stuck with an idiot judge/senator. The house can remove an idiot judge though (not happend yet).

Yeah, It is sort of scary to think that in the United States Andrea Dworkin or Catherine McKinnon could one day be Supreme Court Judges. In Canada that would be the kiss of death on the political career of whoever did it.

I wish that were true, MAUS.

It certainly hasn't been the death of our dear Prime Minister Paul Martin's political career yet. He still seems to be in power after appointing radical feminists Louise Charron and Rosalie Abella to the Supreme Court of Canada. See this posting

Of course Martin's spell as Prime Minister may be mercifully short for other reasons; namely his fragile Lieberal minority government.

We can hope...

I think I can fill in a little background on that. The Canadian chapter of F4J has filed a class action suit for ...wait for it...one hundred and ninety billion dollars for systemic mysandry in the family court system. They have put together a good case.

Paul Martin's government offered an olive branch. They said they were intending to re-write family law in order to accommodate same sex couples. ( If a gay couple gets married and then gets a divorce...how are the feminazi lawyers going to decide which one to screw).

F4J's response was that they were not going to wait another five years and they wanted restitution for what has already been done.

That was when Paul made those appointments..rightly assuming that suit...opposition to gay marriage...and also the class action suit against SOW and the witches of Laval will probably go to the Supreme Court.

For all that has been said about Abella, I owe her big time for my own cause against the government and I will say that her willingness to sock it to them for billions has not seemed to hurt her career. This time she will not be the only voice in the decision, and I would not bet on her defending the government if push comes to shove. You should have seen her telling off the feminazi lawyer that the government retained to flaunt their own pay equity law. Paul Martin is Machiavellian...Abella has integrity. She will no doubt support gay marriage, but she has grown as dissillusioned as many others in what has been happening in family court, and I did a case by case review of everything she presided over in the last five years through the Canlii database. The other one I have not researched yet.

This runs very much counter to what I know of her, and stories I've heard about her profoundly anti-male judgements. Not calling you a liar, my friend, just very surprised.

I'd be interested in following up on this. Think you could point me towards that source? Thanks.

What i love most about this, is that the motivation for the poll by the Toronto Sun, was to adress the fact that the people of Canada had voted 10 men to the top ten list of greatest Canadians.

This could not have worked out better. :)

Here you have a black women champion mens rights, that is great. I wonder if she is doing this cause maybe her brother, father or son was shafted in the courts. We may all know someone, my brother in law for one, was put through the ringer, it was absolutely disgusting how is ex tried to manipulate and keep him from his daughter. All people see the injustice done. The feminazis are creating enemies of those whom they wish to have on their side.
