Though building a stripper's pole in a dorm is not the most intelligent thing to do, let's all try to remember another common sense fact....
Pornography would NOT exist if women refused to pose.
Stripping would NOT exist if women refused to dance and strip.
'Girls Gone Wild' would NOT exist if girls kept their damn shirts, bras, panties, and thongs on while in front of camera.
But child exploitation and pedophilia are entirely different issues. That's real deagradation and exploitation.
But these "degradations" are performed by women who will GLADLY sell their bodies for profit and fame.
And they know that they can get away with it, because the males who offer the profit and fame will be the ones who have their names dragged through the media's mud. And probably prosecuted.
Though the 'winner' of the non-stripping strip show was said to be "disciplined". I'm pretty sure it was just a slap on the wrist. While the guys who I'll admit probably shouldn't have built the damn pole because that was just ignorant, will probably be expelled.
After all, they were the evil pornographers who preyed on innocent little women, trapped by an evil Patriarchy and tyrranical Heterosexual Male Dictatorship.
Porn, stip clubs, prostitution, and Heidi Fleiss would not exist if women didn't VOLUNTARILY show up for the "audition."
It's called choice. Funny how feminists only want the right to 'choice' for certain things. (But I'm still Pro-Roe v. Wade and Pro-Abortion Rights)
Women are exploiting and degrading themselves these days for profit, fame, and control over men.
I call it Sex-Ploitation Feminism.
Well you won't hear about me being on 'Girls Gone Wild' even though I'm a college girl.
But you'll see my roommate probably, knowing her. She'll do anything for attention towards her body so long as she gets money and free drinks. Then she bitches about guys "disrespecting" her. She barely wears any clothes and it's freezing outside!
The only kind of exploitation I have sympathy for is obviously child pornography and child slavary/prostitution. That's REAL degradation and exploitation. Not this similar Girls Gone Wild bullshit.
If this was an article about some creepy person kidnapping kids and making them dance naked around a pole, then this would be a very different post.
A much angrier post.
And did you notice that the guys who attended the party had to pay and the girls got in free?
More sex-ploitation-feminism. I pay (with money) for my drinks at parties.
Yeah I just admitted to underage drinking, but who here didn't do that? *Ms.Thea the Pre-Law Major, Pro-Gender Egalitarian, and Pro-Reproductive Rights Activist*

I am not so sure this prevailing attitude of girls are always right, boys are wrong and bad is anything new. In grade school I cannot recall how many girls got me into trouble. How? They simply went to sister (I attended catholic schools), said I did this or that and I am now in trouble. Did sister want to hear my side of anything? Hell no, what one female questioning another's acusation about the behavior of a boy. If a girl said you were wrong (a boy that is) then you were wrong, end of story.

That sounds similar to things I've observed recently in a class I'm taking at a local community college. We have a variety of different ages in the class, including some high-school age students. A few of them are always sitting together, a few boys and a rather attractive (and usually scantily clad) girl. The boys all compete with each other for her attention, and the girl clearly loves it, and encourages them. The instructor hates it (she's somewhat strict, and hadn't really wanted to teach students of that age, for which I don't blame her), and has come down hard on whoever of them she catches talking. Thing is, it's always the boys who get in trouble. The only time the girl is included in the admonishments is when they both get caught talking, in which case the instructor addresses them both, but only the boys have gotten singled out (one has been kicked out of the class). It's not a big deal, but I just couldn't help noticing the natural bias that seemed to be there. The girl was at the core of the problem, yet the boys are the ones punished or admonished more severely.
That got me thinking about how female mischief is simply less recognized, and is in some cases less recognizable, admittedly, but you would think that since the majority of educators seem to be female, they'd be wise to female-instigated problems. Sadly, the ones who can do the most about such things are the ones turning a blind eye, and if the instructor is male, they probably don't dare discipline females for fear of being accused of creating a "hostile study environment" or whatever the latest buzzwords are for that. Anyway, sorry if this is semi-off topic, just got me thinking about that.

Solo Wolf.
Don't worry too much about being "off topic".
It's amazing how OFF topic we can be, around here, and yet somehow STILL be ON topic.
I hope that made sense...,

I will admit to underage drinking. When I was 16 my friends and I had fake ID. Got us into many sleezy bars. I was a bad boy and at age 54 still am and damn ( I hope I am spelling damn correctly because I use this word frequently)proud of it. However today I drink stricly non alcoholic beverages in bars. Being an older jock and fitness freak alcohol is not for me. Too many cops around too.
TC says it well about being off topic but still being on topic. Know what he means. But that keeps things interesting.

Damn! Are these guys creative or what! I am completely jealous of their advanced thinking. Would that I could have thought so creatively. These guys deserve a grammy award for their massive pushing of the envelope.
Marxist-Feminist can go to hell. They are too damn stupid to realize that this is a crowning victory for males.
