Barbara Walters is just an insightful reporter who was simply concerned that this wonderful woman compromised her otherwise pure female sexuality by engaging in an underage relationship that turned out to be tragic for the woman. I mean, it's such a shame that the nasty police prosecuted this poor misunderstood woman, who merely wanted to show this 12-year-old boy the joys of sex with a 34-year-old woman. He should be so lucky to have had such a loving and caring teacher. It's too bad that he has done poorly in life after this clandestine little affair, because if anything it should have given his male ego a boost. And the messages she sent to him to torment him, well that was just out of character for her.
We all know that the media extends the same kind of sympathy for male teachers that have sexual relationships with 12-year-old girls. And even though "The Patriarchy" doesn't always manage to get them off the hook, they can be sure that their jail sentences will be short and that the other prisoners will give them high fives for having helped preserve the culture of male privilege [sarcasm off].

In addition to the media, the so called 'religious right' are also culpable.
What is potentially more damaging to my child?
To stumble onto this show and learn this woman, Barbara Walters, 20/20, ABC, and our local station are all ok with female pedophilia
or
To have split-second visual confirmation that Janet Jackson does in fact have a breast?
Where is the national outrage at 20/20 and ABC?

I forgot to mention, during her discussion of the time-line Barbara asked something along the lines of "is that when you became intimate?"
I cannot imagine this question ever being asked of a male. It would have been more like "is that when you raped this child you godam wacko bastard?"
I could not believe what I was hearing. How long has this mindset been accepted?

I talked to my current wife about this and she saw nothing wrong with this!! I was very angry at her reaction but not surprised. She doesn't even realize that this young Man was exploited and his normal childhood development distorted and his life ruined. I asked her if the genders were reversed would you feel the same way? She said no. She is viewing a steady diet of Oxygen, Lifetime Entertainment for Women, and Orca Winfrey. I am disgusted that she too has been brainwashed into this misandry. She was the Adult, she had a moral responsibility to not sexually exploit a 12 year old male student. She was married at the time and had 4 kids to think about. Yet she ownly cared about her own sexual perversion and satisfying it. The more Moral Gender my Hairy White Ass.

In a sense I am not surprised at the strange mentality of Baba Wawa in this instance.
I remember her commenting on national news, a few years ago when Lorena Bobbitt cut of her husband's penis - Walters said that her news partner Hugh Downs simply "could not understand" what it is like to be a woman - effectively that chopping the guy's dick off is okay.
I think it would have been better if Baba had married Castro a few years back and moved to Cuba - let's see how they treat their women..she likes DIC-tators and DICk removers!
