Popular Campaign Kills CA. Anti-Father Bill
posted by Hombre on 11:40 AM August 20th, 2004
News Anonymous User writes "In the face of enormous opposition, California Senate President Pro Tem John Burton (D-San Francisco) has decided to withdraw a bill which would have granted custodial parents an almost unlimited right to move children far way from their noncustodial parents. Popular outrage--including over 2,000 calls, letters and faxes to Sacramento as well as wide media coverage--was generated by radio talk show hosts Glenn Sacks and Dr. Laura Schlesinger. Article here."

Best interest of the children.

"Usually our side loses the battle in the media, which precipitates a defeat in the legislature. This time was clearly different. The Alliance for Children Concerned About Move-Aways garnered a ton of press attention, most of it quite favorable."

Evidence, if evidence were needed, that a solo mans voice, combined with other solo voices can make a difference ! ! !

All too clearly, it is time men picked up the pen, sent an email, telephoned and altogether started to Act on matters of import. . . this is how the women's movement got things their own way, so start writting now and make the difference. Individually, you can swell the tide of men registering opposition. Each one of the 'over two thousand' letters were from individuals !

I'm one of those 2,000, and I have to say it feels really good to see that number, but it should be much, much bigger considering the number of disenfranchised Father's and men who are out there. The radical feminist agenda has been kicking our butts for decades, and we've been going to work, getting the groceries, and doing all the other things we can to have some kind of a "normal" life. There are a lot of guys out there, stuck in that powerless rut, and living in complete denial rather than opening the door to all the pain that has been heaped on them. They think if they "Get tough or die," or "suck it up" they can just go on and it won't matter.

The radical/gender feminists have been expoiting the "manly" qualities of men to a "T," for years and digging an ever bigger whole for men to live their pitiful unfulfilled lives in.

Newsflash, the men's movement is here. Show some real guts and face the reality the feminists have buried you in! Do something, no matter how small, then do some other small step! Make it a habit of doing something for the men's movement everyday, again just a small step will do, but more is always good. Empower men to take back the shattered shell of their lives with your activism, even if you just write a letter.

In doing so, know that you are part of a vast brotherhood of good will, who will no longer be exploited by radical/gender feminists through the "manly" virtues you have been born with, or taught to carry by society, or government.

Men of America and the Western world your freedom your rights, your privileges are at hand, take them!
Join the Men's movement. I'm in NCFM (National Coaltion of Free Men), but any of the fine groups out there will do. Join a couple of the groups if you like, but don't burn yourself out either. Join us and show America, show the world what men are made of, and I'm not talking about the feminist model for men either. As always, women are welcome, but park that radical/gender feminist crap at the door. It just doesn't fly among honest, intelligent circles.

Sincerely, Ray

Finally the KIDS win.

I was denied my father and it sucked out loud!

Every time he made an effort to make contact my mother would threaten that since he owed child support she would have him arrested if he came around.

Now, I didn't know that. I was told that he didn't WANT contact with me. And that hurt. That hurt more than I can say, even today after he and I have reestablished a relationship.

I don't think women know that kids who were denied EITHER parent have a LOT of anger when they find out they were duped and used as pawns.

I love my mom, but part of me (and it comes up often enough to make her uncomfortable) will never forgive her using me to get her "revenge" on my dad.

This time ... the KIDS win.
