"The men will be given tips on how to lay a strong foundation for a lasting relationship with their wives."
Tip: Don't get a "wife" in the first place. What you are actually getting is a mistress with a (sometimes literal) whip, figuratively in the form of a legal system that hates men.
My stock advice for western men is given with 100x imperative to Indian men: do not marry. If need be, move from India, go anywhere to avoid being placed in the marriage trap. Don't let yourselves be any more enslaved than you already are.
I wonder if (Mahatma) Ghandi-ji were still alive today, what he might have to say about this state of affairs? I can't imagaine he would be so enthusiastic about India's future looking at this sort of thing as he was back then even under British rule, with civil war looming!

"I wonder if (Mahatma) Ghandi-ji were still alive today, what he might have to say about this state of affairs? " From all accounts, Indian men have progressed from being second class citizens under British rule to being third class citizens under Lesbinazi rule. I reckon Gandhi might say "Come back, England, all is forgiven!". On second thoughts, however, that wouldn't improve things as England is also under Lesbinazi rule.

I read this article. All I can say is we men are a bunch of bad guys. I need to start being mean to women, beating my dogs, after all I need to live up to these expectations right?

Relegating men to second class citizen is an idea that originated in the Euro-American world. It's sad to see the extent to which this ideology has permeated India, in fact the whole world (check out Amnesty International's gross anti-male hate campaign).
As Ghandi showed, non-violent resistance can be very powerful. I'm starting to do things like getting out of elevators before women do (no more back of the bus for men!), raising toilet seats (what women want does not define the "right way"), bringing up child support laws whenever sex is discussed, talking about male victims of domestic violence, paternity fraud, etc.

A few days ago I sent back my membership card with a blistering letter that I wish I had made a copy of. Feminists are insinuating themselves into international organizations at an alarming rate, turning humanitarian efforts into women's issues.

I read with Interest the demonstrations by fathers 4 justice. It really follows gandhi's footsteps of raising awareness and demos and non-violence. The recent foot march started by Fathers 4 justuce is remenascent of the Salt March or the Dandi March of Gandhi. Their restraint is admirable and the fact that they have realised that the real enemies are the system who allows the individual women to have an "Entitlement Feeling ". Yesterday I went to an ill organised meeting for rights of Womens Rights. Whent he Issue of maintenance came up I suddenly asked them on what grounds should there be maintenance and reeled of the set of jobs that women of every education status and economic starta have available so nobody needs maintenance from anybody .The shock was palpable. It was novelty nobody thought anybody will speak up for the men . Their event was in shamble after that There is propensity to define new sets of crime by womens organisations. Gender relationship is too important a matter to be left only to those who study subjects like crime against women and gender relation etc. Decent men and men also have to get into the discourse. Luckily though the laws are totally tilted aginst men but the society hasn't yet cowed men into guilt induced submission.
Ge(nder) studies : study of gender from neutral point of view
Wo(nder) studies : study of gender from womens point of view
Me(nder) studies : Study of Gender from Mens point of view
Women have done a lot of Wondering it is time for men to do some mending now
