posted by Adam on 04:28 PM August 5th, 2004
News this is not equality writes "The GOP is asking for individual input for the party platform in 2004. This year, for the first time, suggestions given online may be included in the final document. Anyone can logon to the web site (here) and participate in the platform process. We need to tell the Republicans that Men's Issues are important. If we don't make an effort, we can only blame ourselves. Please help form the GOP platform in 2004. Visit the website and tell them that we are fed up."

The Democratic Party seems to be dominated by feminists now, but that doesn't have to be the case forever.

If you want to be active politically, please don't neglect the Democrats. Mens activists ought to be active in both parties.

John Kerry has a blog. You can also post commentary to Dean's old blog, because Dean's movement is still alive and very active in the party: http://www.democracyforamerica.com/

The Dean people are influential, and I predict they will have a big effect on the direction of the party, over the long term. I would be very happy to see masculists active there.

Get us a forum specifically titled "Men's Issues" or "Discrimination Against Men" or anything comparable and I'll post there.

Unless and until that happens, I'm not buying it. I've seen what happened at the Kerry forums when Men's Issues Advocates went over and requested -- and agitated -- for even a crumb of respect.

They got nothing.

If a Men's Issues Advocate presence at these forums means so much to you, go make it happen. If you build it, we will come. But we will not go over there and build it for you. We tried. Nothing happened.

Sorry. I have nothing against you or the Democratic party personally. But I have to spend my limited resources where I think I at least have a hope of a chance. I see no hope among the Democrats/Liberals whatsoever, and I don't believe I'm being shown any, either.

Same here.
But while I have little faith in the Republicans as well, I think we have a better shot at having them listen to us than with the Democrats.
As has already been mentioned, the Democrats are DOMINATED by feminists. The Republicans, not so much so. And don't forget what John Kerry said, about a month ago. He said he wants to; "Put justice back into the hands of WOMEN."
Sorry I'm just one of those good 'ol fashioned Americans that believes that justice should be in the hands of EVERY AMERICAN! Not just women.
Look at the family courts and the justice system as a whole, if justice ISN'T "in the hands of women" already, where is it?
So no, I will not support the Democrats. sorry.

What a joke. The Democratic Party has been overrun by socialist. As such they are primarily Marxist-Feminist. Further, I've seen the worst racist and bigots in Sacramento, and they are all Dems.

No thanks. Let them have their Marxist platform of family destruction. If we give the Dem's input it only helps them to make their platform sound more friendly when in fact they are male haters.

I would like to see the GOP establish an Office of Men's Health at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. This office would mirror the work of the existing Office of Women's Health.

Also, there is a desparate need for reform of the family law system. Too many men are short changed by this corrupt and political agenda driven monstrosity. Paternity fraud is rampant as well as courts awarding excessive child support 90% of the time at the father's expense, with no accounting of how and where the money is spent. Also, there is need to pass laws against false accusations of rape and molestation. There are many other areas that deserve attention but the main current is that the time for addressing men's rights has arrived.

Hello Congressman Gingrey,

I was privileged to receive in the mail your Report on Health Care.

In it you spelled out your plans for securing health benefits for Americans.

However, I did not see any indication that you are going to support establishing an Office of Men’s Health.
I am sure that you will be an ardent supporter of this project if you had the facts.

Therefore, I am sending you this media fact sheet below that I hope will be helpful in garnering your support for his effort

"I am fed-up with the way the parties (Both of you!) kow-tow to women's interests at the expense of men's rights. In education, family law, and health care, the feminists seem to get what they want regardless of the cost to men. Do the following:
1) Either allow VAWA to expire without renewal OR add accountability so that male victims of domestic violence can get the help they need and female perpetrators face justice. Assure that due process is restored in every state.
2) Establish a gender-blind approach to Title IX by recognizing boys' deficiencies in learning (reading and language) as aggressively as girls (science and math), and by using the exclusion model to satisfy the requirement for parity in athletics.
3) Give the full measure of value to fatherhood, by encouraging states to treat custody and visitation violations with equal gravity as support payments. Add a program to the National Fatherhood Initiative that seeks to educate MOTHERS as to the value of fatherhood.
4) In reproductive rights, recognize fatherhood as being equal to motherhood in reproductive choice. Provide federal funding for research into male birth control."

Restore the Importance of Fathers (Score:0)
by Anonymous User on 10:52 AM August 6th, 2004 EST (#9)
Here is what I sent:

I've participated in the issue of paternity fraud for the last 4 years, and I've worked with the corrupt primarily socialist California legislature, the corrupt gangster like CA-DCSS, the many corrupt gangster feminist groups that wield power over the CA-DCSS, many of the corrupt children's rights groups that also wield power over the CA-DCSS, representatives of our clearly corrupt judicial system who have seized power from the legislature, and many others in an effort to craft legislation that will help to restore the importance of fathers in children's lives.

What I found is that they all deny their corrupt values and ideals in relation to the issue of paternity fraud. Without question there is a massive denial of how children are turned into criminals because of our family law.

In effect, these groups are willing to make most any excuse to permit a mother to name the wrong father of a child and thus introduce the child and father to a life of lies and deceit that most always ends in disaster when the truth is learned/told.

Paternity fraud occurs when mothers have multiple sexual relations during the conception of a child. Yes that is correct. Women have multiple sexual relations at an astonishingly high rate. In the lower classes of our culture, over 50% of the mothers have been found to engage in multiple sexual relations. For this reason, over 10% of Americas entire population has no idea who is the natural father of a child. This is as Carl Marx and feminist have planned.

I have further determined that the source of these values can be found in Carl Marx's Communist Manifesto. One only need to read about the mandate to destroy the natural family to learn of how corrupt our family law has become. Further, there are literally billions in incentives to destroy men and their children. This is due to a culture where a mother is permitted to state that she doesn’t need the natural father of a child. For them the family is defined to be the mother and the child. The father is nothing more than a paycheck.

During my service in Sacramento, I've also determined that America has the highest criminalization of males in the world. That is for one reason and one reason only. It is because of a failure to recognize the importance of identifying the correct father when a child is born. Make no mistake. We are repeating the exact historical pattern of communist Russia from early 1918 where 7 million children became criminals and wandered the streets in gangs. Even Stalin found that it was necessary to preserve the natural family and reduce the amount of multiple sexual relations that a mother was experiencing! Yet America continues to spit on the natural fathers of children!

I have further found that billions in government resources are wasted on chasing the wrong father who was falsely identified due to paternity fraud. Yet the CA-DCSS insists on lying about this fact. That is because they want to expand their system through the mechanism of paternity fraud and chasing after these so-called deadbeat dads. By expanding their system of corruption it only destroys children, creates welfare dependency, creates criminals, and breads corruption in American culture. Carl Marx would be proud of the progress that America has made in destroying males and fathers so that women can have special privileges.

For example, when a mother applies for welfare the CA-DCSS demands that the mother name a male or create a list of possible males who may be the father of the child(ren). At that time, the mother is required to conduct an armchair paternity test and name the single person she believes is the father even though she may be completely wrong.

Next, the CA-DCSS utilizes a corrupt policy of obtaining default judgments to create a legal liability on the part of the male who is unlucky enough to have been fingered in the armchair paternity test. The default judgments are obtained via various techniques of substitute service, playing on emotions and goodwill of the male, and outright lying to the paternity fraud victim.

The result is that over 10% of the men named do not get notification (proper service) of the hearing. Thus the paternity fraud victim finds a default judgment was entered after all time lines have expired to challenge the fraud against them.

Finally, the DCSS begins their corrupt practice of behaving like gangsters to collect 10's of thousands in child support from the father who failed the armchair paternity test of a mother who is morally corrupt because of her whore like behavior.

In the paternity workgroup we found that in California there could be a savings of billions of dollars if only a mandatory DNA test was conducted at the time of birth. The cost to the state to administer such a system is under 20 million dollars! The savings to California and the Federal government is several 100 million dollars each year. Yet these socialists insist on continuing this Marxist invented system even though it is clear that it breads criminal children.

Knowing these facts, the CA-DCSS and all their cronies find it profitable to defraud children and males via the mechanism of paternity fraud. Even America's federal government funds the activity with millions of dollars.

There is only one answer and that is mandatory DNA testing of every child at birth. If the mother refuses to cooperate then she should be judged to be an unfit mother because she is damaging the child by not properly identifying the father. This is the only way that we will stop the massive criminalization of males in America. All other techniques of identifying the correct father of a child are obsolete. DNA testing is the only way we will restore a culture of family values, and it is the only way we can fight the gangsters that wield such influence to damage America’s children.

Restoring the importance of fathers in children’s lives by utilizing mandatory DNA testing leads to the following promises: I can promise, without a shadow of a doubt, that the importance of a natural family in American culture will be restored. All other measures WILL FAIL. I know that without question. Now it is time for the Republicans to TELL THE TRUTH and stop supporting the communist in our family law systems!

To the Republican Party:

I am an advocate for men's issues - an area that has been largely overlooked until recently. Men and boys are at a disadvantage in several areas in today's society, for example in education, divorce and child custody, health and safety, and domestic violence services.

While I'm not saying that women's issues are now invalid, I feel that there needs to be a counterpoint to the feminist agenda that has dominated gender issues over the past three decades.

Consequently, I would like to ask you the following questions:

1. There is currently an Office of Women's Health in the Department of Health and Human Services. Would you support the creation of an Office of Men's Health (S. 1028, H.R. 1734) to address disparities in health and safety issues for men and boys?

2. Men are victims of domestic violence in at least 36% of cases, but there are only two shelters for men in the United States, compared with 2,000 for women. Would you support amending the "Violence against Women Act" to the "Intimate Partners Violence Act" so that funding may be available for domestic violence victims of both genders?

3. Currently, circumcision (genital mutilation) of girls is illegal in the United States, as it should be. However, it is still routinely practiced on boys. Would you support the "Federal Prohibition of Genital Mutilation Act of 2004" which would give the same protections to boys as is given to girls?

4. Men are frequently denied access to their children in the wake of divorce by biased custody agreements. Lack of father involvement has been shown to be harmful to children. Would you support a standard of "rebuttable presumption of shared custody" for fathers so that they can remain involved in their children's lives?

5. Paternity fraud occurs when the woman of a child lies about which man is the biological father of her child, often for the purposes of collecting child support. This occurs in 28 - 30% of tested males. Would you support legislation that releases men from child support obligations in cases where non-paternity is established? (Currently this has been considered at the state level in some states).

6. Boys are lagging behind girls in education, particularly in reading and writing. Male enrollment in college has now dropped to 43% of the total (33% among African Americans), yet the education system continues to act as if it is females that are at a disadvantage. Would you support efforts to improve the educational opportunities for young males?

I would be interested in your response to these important questions on men's issues.

Sincerely,

Steven G. Van Valkenburg
