The unfairness of the Kobe Bryant trial

The Media The Saneman writes "The famous trial-laywer Gerry Spence offers his insights on the Kobe Bryant trial, and how the legal system and the media unjustly favor the female accuser. Gerry Spence is a prominent figure in the US legal system, and his opinions about this case are well worth reading as he points out some fundamental problems with how these cases are dealt with in both the legal system and the media. The key quote from the linked essay --

"Beyond the Bryant case, how, does any man in his romantic excursions protect himself against false claims against which the law provides no defense? Are chaperons of unimpeachable character now in order? A tape recorder, a hidden camera in the ceiling?

We, women and men alike, need protection against unlawful assaults against our persons or our reputations. But today's protection afforded women tends to destroy the right of innocent men to protect themselves."

In truth, there is no fair and impartial legal due process afforded any man accused of a sexual offense.

In truth, under today's anti-male judiciary, being born male is all that's required for conviction.

Guilty ... by virtue of the politically incorrect chromosomes.

I am a female from India, but I know a Indian male who was drugged and sexually abused by a female in the US. Recently she has beautifully tailored a story and set him up on charges of attempted rape and personal injury to her.
Although we are trying to get some help from rape crisis centers, apart from the inital considerate voice that hears the story....there is no response from these help organizations.
Although male rape do occur, the law system, crisis centers do not hold a balanced view and are inclined towards convicting the male because of the general notion that "only a male can abuse". I am in search of some organization who will be willing to help or atleast direct us in getting some help or else he will spend his rest of his life in jail.

To would be intresting to see a experiment where a number of men are subjected to a jury trial, with minimal evidence and see how many times the men is found guilty. Basically just make actors make people believe it is a real case... then see what kind of outcomes happen. This could be applied to a number of other types of cases where men get a raw deal. Would be a great way for some publicity on mens issues with the judical branch of the goverment as well.

Spence offers his insights on the Kobe Bryant trial, and how the legal system and the media unjustly favor the female accuser.

The female accuser is Kate Faber for those of you who have been in Outer Mongolia for the past few years and just got back.

Why should the accused be identified and the accuser not? Stupid misandrous double standard again!
