As much as I applaud the courts finally taking a case of woman to boy molestation seriously, I don't care for the short length of the sentence. A man would have received 5 years for ONE consensual tryst with a 16-year-old girl. Again, no prosecutor in the country would have plea bargained a man accused of doing to a girl what Whited did to this boy. I can just see the national headlines: Foster Dad Kept Girl, 13, As Sex-Slave! [subhead]Forced her to have sex every day! This boy was robbed of adolescence, no teen social life, he was infected with an incurable disease and undoubtedly traumatized for life.

Had the genders been reversed:
The man would have been looking at 25 to life, newspapers around the country would be screaming for his head. (Don't think so. The New York Daily News has made a frontpage campaign of hounding Joel Steinberg, recently released from prison.) The girl in question would be on Montel, she would have a book deal, Lifetime would've made a telemovie, Hollywood would buy her story for its latest chick-flick, and financially, if not emotionally, she would be set for life.

The boy spent seven years of torture. Donna Whited will spent only five years in prison... and she will not be a registered sex offender.

Whited will have five years of probation after her release and must notify the local sheriff's office of any new addresses for 10 years. She does not have to notify neighbors that she is a sexual offender.

Notice she doesn't have to notify neighbors that she is a sexual predator or pediphile. If it was a guy that did this, he would be registered for life in the program.

If he is interested in viewing adolescent nudity then he should have gone to any big city art museum where paintings hundreds of years old that depict young nudes in all kinds of poses are considered priceless treasures.

And before anyone starts to accuse me of being a member of NAMBLA or what ever; if the number of registered sex offenders who are female were near the number of male registered offenders then the argument above would be proclaimed by even the birds in the trees.

It surely tells us something about our culture's myopic reverence for the feminine when a female sexual predator such as this vile women gets off easy, and is not required to register and identify herself as a sex offender, thus warning others of her presence in their community.

Despite all the evidence to the contrary (DV statistics showing equivalent violence by women; greater incidence of child homicide committed by women; false rape allegations approaching 60%; rabid misandry in the so-called Family Courts...)

we still want to believe in the fiction that women are the virtuous, "fairer" sex.

It's as good a scam as has ever been invented!

P.T. Barnum must be rolling in his grave that he died too soon to cash in on feminism!

Very perceptive.
This kind of stuff always happened but was rarely reported or taken seriously. I was aware of such molestations for almost half a century.

A debt of gratitude is owed to the feminist movement now that more and more mass media reports are shedding light on the true nature of the female species, including very obvious manisfestations of violence, psychosis, and borderline personality disorder.

After all, if the fems had not gone to such great lengths to claim moral superiority for women, (while demonizing men in general)would we now be so shocked by the truth coming out into the open?

The next few years will see many more revelations, as long-known statistics start to surface in the major mass media, and the "basement regions" of female psychology are exposed to the light of critical thought.

Unless, of course, the feminists are successful (a la the Canadian SOWs...) in making such thought a HATE CRIME against women!

Very well said.
But don't forget that according to feminist "logic" just being born male is a "hate crime" against women.

The usual way this type of statutory rape was flicked off by society(older female raping younger male) was to say "Wow, sex every day with an older woman! How lucky can a guy get!"

I wonder if the rape victim in this drama would have been ordered to pay child support if he had fathered a bastard with this rapist? He did get off rather light with just a case of an incurable STD.

The catch is,she pleaded guilty to molesting 2 teen boys.If she didn`t plead guilty and was found guilty by the court they claim she could have gotten 20 years(yeah, right).
