It sounds like the kid needs more protection from this nut case of a mother than from the father. I am not swayed, either by her "Boo hoos" and; "I'm so sorry. and I'm glad my ex-husband didn't go to jail" jazz.   Who does she think she's fooling? of COURSE she wanted her ex to go to jail! If not why go to all the trouble of fakeing your own kidnapping?!? But how much do you want to bet that she'll go 'boo hoo' in court and every one says "Awww, poor little thing." and she gets off with a slap on the wrist or less?   Thundercloud.   "Hoka hey!"

Everyday women use the courts, which have been corrupted with feminist lies, to attack men and to shirk their own responsibilities in wrong doings. It is becoming common knowledge that a woman can charge a man on nothing more than her own words alone, expecially in cases of rape or DV, and the courts will fully prosecute the man charged, and if any wrong doing occured on her behalf, they will view her as a victim first, and a criminal second (if at all).
