Men's Medical Association
posted by Adam on 02:33 PM February 26th, 2004
Inequality FutureDoc writes "St. Louis University School of Medicine is attempting to charter a student group [tentatively] called "American Men's Medical Association". The initiative is to offer male students (who are a statistical minority this year) the same benefits and representation that the women's group (AMWA) provides. There has been an incredible uproar as the meer proposal is "a slap in the face of [oppressed] women". It is likely that the group will never be allowed to be sanctioned; funny since educating about prostate cancer and the risks of heart disease in men are amongst the most pertinent topics in practical medicine; instead we will continue to support breast cancer (in women only) and try our best to insure that our female classmates are propelled ahead of us in the professional field through whatever means necessary."

Future Doctor, Take some advice from an old warrior. Bide your time and bite your tongue until you are full fledged. When the university alumnae association comes to you for money after you graduate (as they surely will) tell them "women need men like fish need bicycles so go find a school of barracuda to finance your culture of mysandry" and form your association after the medical school looses it's hold on you. Be patient...strike the enemy when the enemy is in no position to strike back...TAKE NO PRISONERS...this noxious weed is more phoenix like than Jason or Freddie. And most of all never loose faith or your own sense of integrity "There are 5000 in Israel who have not bowed their knees to Baal". Good luck brother.

Being a doctor myself, I respect your forwardness in trying to start a men's organization.

But you should do it now, and here is why: when you are in medical school, it is the time where you have just about as much freedom as you will ever have. Once you become a resident or attending, you will be far too busy and your colleagues will be far to scattered for you to ever have a chance to do something like this.

Take it from me (a 4th year resident). Now is the time, or never. I regret not having done it myself.

I know how frustrating it is to deal with an educational system that does not educate you at a level comparable to your interests. It's totally wrongheaded.

Keep up the good fight. As a student, you are untouchable. Once you enter the wards, your attendings will not even know what you do in your (very limited) free time. They won't even care, just so long as you get your work done.

If your in your earlier years with more classes and less clinical time, it would be the best. Then, your colleagues will be in the same classes with you every day.

I strongly disagee. How are we ever going to get our problems fixed if we all just "bide (our) time" and after graduation, refusing to send in donations which a majority of alumni probably already do anyway?

My advice would be to stay and fight. If you don't have what it takes for that course of action, I would suggest finding a different medical school to attend, supporting one with your tuition funds that has a proper attitude toward its men and women alike.

I can tell you this much, the people named in the McCarthy list have sued...the list at least has been removed from SOW's website. The feminist mandarine who defended this non-sense has been ousted from the Liberal Part and is considering running for the New Democrats. There was apparently more backlash from this than anyone would have thought. Before comming out of retirement and taking up this fight again I posted the following notice at SOW's E-mail:-

" Please add my name to your McCarthy list"

Having read the results of this "research" I have the following comments:- first and foremost in response to the call to intimidate those who would criticize or oppose feminists, just type in the words "All men must die" in the Google search engine and you will find 3,900,000 hits. Not only does this phrase meet the criteria of inciting to hatred, it meets the criteria of uttering death threat. This report and it's recommendations was one of the worst examples of the pot calling the kettle black that I have ever read on a government sponsored site. The Internet is absolutely saturated with culture of mysandry content but it is apparent from this response that feminists really don't like the taste of their own medicine.

Here is a definition...BIGOT....someone who has a lot to say about a group of people and not one word of it good.....

No doubt by now the Status of Women advisory council has acquired a considerable library of resource material from feminist contributors. ....I will make you a wager....if in all of this material....enough to fill a library no doubt....you are able to find one page, even so much as one paragraph that has anything good to say about men.....I will kiss your a$$...upon failure to do so....you can kiss mine...FEMINISTS ARE BIGOTS...and I am certainly not the first person to have noticed.

The next point I would like to raise is the legitimate concern of these people you have labelled " masculinists" about the future of males attending the public schools of Canada. I am an alumnus of Mount Saint Vincent University....Canada's foremost bastion of Feminazi loonytoons. Having a first hand experience in the culture of mysandry political indoctrination that teachers must submit to and subscribe to gives me serious concerns for the future of my two grandsons who will have a horrible culture of mysandry gauntlet of bullying to face when they are put in the charge of women who have a chronic bug up their a$$ against anything and everything male...but like all other bullies will only take it out on those who are in no position to fight back.

Which raises a question in my mind about the lawful mandate of the "National Advisory Council on the Status of Women" in terms of efforts made by males for males. Why would this qualify as a "women's issue?"

Were you aware that there is a Roman Catholic monastic order called "The Sisters of Your Having Sex Business"? .....in other words it's nun of your ******* business sisters. Please stick to the knitting of your lawful mandate.

To the observation that "masculinists"are merely maladaptive failures in social Darwinism I say...the unfortunate individuals who were vanquished Bourgeoisie in Communist re-education camps frequently did not adapt to their new political situation...how terribly inept of them...however political power is a very fickle thing...often not much more permanent than a calendar. And no system of enforced egalitarianism has ever lasted very long. My advice to all people who hold positions of power is this...be very careful of how you treat those you have power over, because whether or not you will have power over them tomorrow remains to be seen...I'm sure you have been on Parliament Hill long enough to know what I am on about.

I must, however, compliment those who prepared this "report" for their scholarly language. You know it is very interesting how universities are willing to pervert scholarship with various things called "studies"...the infamous Dr Mengele had a medical degree in "Racial Studies" just about every bushwacker in the IRA has a degree in "Celtic Studies" the willingness of universities to commit the travesty of clothing bigotry in the cap and gown of scholarship disgusts me...but their command of language is indeed impressive...perhaps one of them could tell a maladaptive "masculinist" (in a social Darwinism sense) such as myself whether or not "pedant" is the pluperfect of "pissant".

But to return to the title line of "Please add my name to your McCarthy list" please do....if this was an attempt to silence dissent it has failed miserably and no doubt backfired. To make matters perfectly clear in my own personal case...it would in all honesty be an understatement to say that I dislike feminists...I hate them rancourously...I celebrate the thwarting of their efforts to achieve their political goals ...I dance when one of them is fed large helpings of crow and humble pie after they have so foolishly abused the power they were given...making feminist abusers of power long in the face has become my passion...my favourite hobby... and I am proud to say I have succeeded many times when many have thought I would fail. Now before you label me a mysogynist please consider this... the jewel of my life is my beautiful dynamic daughter who's every success fills me with joy.. I simply have a problem with the notion that the only way to achieve a better deal for women is by orchestrating a culture of mysandry. I did not aquire that attitude from visiting sites on the internet...I had aquired it much more honestly than that long before the internet was even created.

Please do add me to the RCMP s*** list...Feminazis have nothing good to say about men and I have nothing good to say about feminazis...if this was an attempt to intimidate or silence dissent it failed miserably and in fact will probably backfire big time. The era of the sexual sicophant is over. The era of " you better not say anything critical about feminists"is over. The high water mark of the feminazi movement is in the past.

Just by the way...I studied and taught martial arts for 25 years and I have no intention of going quietly. So please instruct the RCMP swat team to prepare for stubborn resistance and get their sniper to blow out my medula....after carefull consideration I would rather die than be ruled by the likes of you or any of your feminazi friends."

So far they have not come for me. Apparently it is not yet illegal in Canada to express dissatisfaction at the results of culture of mysandry politics. Between one thing and another...particularly the uproar about the gun registry and expenditure corruption, election of the Conservatives and a further loss of power to SOW is very likely. They would probably be very hard pressed to find an RCMP officer willing to shoot me just because I will not stand still while a spike is driven through my tongue.

I totally understand your feelings on this.

When I got to Men's Activism I went through several stages. First I was FINAALY at a place where men understood my anger and I vented. Then I had, for the most part, gotten that out of my system, and realized I could learn a lot here and tried to use my research and clerical skills to add to the discussion. During this phase I felt like you did, that I had to qualify my statements against the Feminazis in that I didn't hate women. Most here know me, so I no longer do this. I DO try to make clear that I feel that our battles are against SOME women, and against the passive "poor him, but so what" women who don't seem to give a shit. Eventually MAUS you'll develop your own writing, ranting, contributing style. I am NOT, in the smallest way, talking down to you my brother. I offer some hindsight gained insight. That is all.

This is how ridiculous this country has gotten. This group of doctors is not an opposition group of doctors that wants to fight for men's rights, they just want ONE Association so they can discuss issues that men and male doctors care about.

In the case of the NH Commision on the Status of Men I can "understand" the opposition. The Commission wants to present men's issues that are now ignored. Because, by it's very nature, men and women sometimes have conflicting issues I "understand" the conflict that arouse during it's creation.

But in this case it's about legitimate medical needs that are of concern to men, And somehow THIS is a "slap in the face of oppressed women"?!?!?!?

I picketed a breast cancer walk one time a few months back, and some of the walkers said. "Why don't you do your own walk." To that I replied, "I am, right here and right now." I recited a lot of statistics about men's health to the group, because I was at an intersection, and they would get stuck at the light.

I see that you are taking the advice of my female acitivists and trying to start your own effort, but it is clear from your experience and mine that the bottom line is that these femi-supremacist just don't want any men to be empowered, because they feel all the attention should always be going to women's needs. Women are hardly oppressed in our society. They are far more privileged than men in most ways, but in the ultimate way they are very privileged.
