MSN on Men - refreshingly non-bashing

The Media Matt writes "MSN usually is not so sympathetic with the male gender on such topics. Still, as we know, they have plenty of opportunity to turn from their misandrist ways in a far more affirmative fashion.
Hey, should MSN have its own topic on mensactivism.org? :)"

Grouping it in with "press" seems okay to me. This article is surprisingly sympathetic for MSN, but myths 1,6, and 10 could use a little work.

You're right, Dittohd. Some of those things are true about me and some aren't. I'm not interested in sex in the least, but I MIGHT care about a potential love interest's romantic history. When you're still at zero, you want someone who's a late bloomer like yourself at going out romantically.

Here's a good time for a clerks quote [heavily paraphrased, because it's been awhile]:
veronica: okay, seriously, dante, how many girls have you had sex with?
dante: six.
veronica: oh my god, you pig! blah blah blah!
dante: what?? how many guys have you had sex with?
veronica: 3!
--later--
dante: what, how many guys have you given a blowjob to??
veronica: uh... 36.
dante: WHAT?? counting me??
veronica: okay, 37.
dante: THIRTY-SEVEN?!
veronica: what?? that isn't like having sex.

Always amused me.

Forget the myths. The biggest thing to learn from this article, which was not pointed out in the article, is just how ridiculous things have gotten. How ridiculous is it, when someone has to write an article such as this to "defend" men against such an array of baseless and mostly trivial allegations?

Forget about the myths. This article could have been shortened to a one paragraph Fact:

Fact # 1: The vast majority of men are outstanding individuals, and don't have to defend themselves against anything.

Sheesh. You don't seem too many articles in the press "defending" women for all their failings in how they treat their men. Though, I believe that in this current environment there is a greater basis for doing so than there is a basis for writing such an article about men.
