News Anonymous User writes... "Bon Macy's has pulled T-shirts which say "Boys are Stupid--Throw Rocks at Them" after a storm of protest led by men's advocates. To learn more, see Wendy McElroy's "Christmas in a War Zone" and MND Newswire's "Bon-Macy's Pulls Anti-Boy Shirts as His Side Listeners Flood Store with Calls, E-Mails" at "Bon-Macy's Pulls Anti-Boy Shirts as His Side Listeners Flood Store with Calls, E-Mails"

Good work and thanks to everyone who was involved in this protest, and a special thanks to Glenn Sacks for letting the public know about it. Great job!

Is the Universal Studios store still there? (Score:0)

I wonder if Universal Studios still has an outlet shop for this product. I don't get anything on my searches, and their site doesn't give a store name. Does anyone know the name of the outlet store in Universal City that carries this T-shirt. I would like to go there and buy one, then contact other concerned citizens in my city to discuss with them how selling these T-shirts in the Los Angeles area affects our community.

Sincerely, Ray

P.S. I searched on Universal City, Universal Studios, and David and Goliath.

Just put "boys are stupid; throw rocks at them" into a search engine and you'll (unfortunately) find many online sites that sell it and other related messages. (By the way, have any of you GONE to the Davidandgoliathtees.com site? MANY, MANY messages like this. The "movie" they show in the beginning shows a boy in the "Stupid Factory", which is being crushed by a wrecking ball, sending the boy up into the air when the toilet he's sitting on sprays water upwards. Then you see text and a girl cheerily tossing a rock into the air, after which she hurls it at the boy. You see it connect with his head and then you go to the main part of the site.)

Anyway, here are some places (to start)that got my letter:

info@spiralandcircle.com
GIFTapolis3@aol.com
info@sleepwear.tv

One of these sent me something along the lines of "obviously you have no sense of humor", to which I sent a follow-up, but one person from another site said he was unaware that his company was selling such a product and that could I send him the exact URL or something or other.

Give it a try.

I tried your idea in the searches, and one store said this clothing line was coming out of Los Angeles. Good grief that's where I live. I suspect these shirts are manufactured in the garmet district of Los Angeles, where wages and working conditions are notoriously bad.

I would like to know the details of this operation so as to bring the info to the attention of my elected officials and the media (starting w/Glenn Sacks). Oh, by the way, every cop car in Los Angeles has one of those bumper stickers that reads: "THERE'S NO EXCUSE FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE."

If anyone finds out anything about the Los Angeles operation (the source) please post it here.

Hey Ray,

I look forward to the day when every L.A. squad has a bumper sticker that reads ---

I wrote them a letter. I am happy it took money out of D&G T-shirts coffers. I don't know if Universal is still selling them. If they are, let me know, I will be happy to cut and paste my old letter to them.

Yup, it's there, and so is that product line. In my opinion more needs to be said about this. I am still checking to see where else this misandrist shirt collection may be present in our community.

I think a GREAT DEAL more needs to be said about this, and beyond that - something DONE about it.

Even though this particular shirt got pulled off the shelves by this particular seller, It remains "childhate, inc's" "best seller". How many thousands of pubescent girls have absorbed that message as being the way one thinks about males? Does anyone really think that 10-15 years from now when they start seriously hunting for a husband to give them their holy "choice" to stay at home and raise kids, that their basic belief system will suddenly turn around 180 degrees?

The women of tomorrow are being raised today to hold men and maleness in utter contempt. Some people are getting rich off selling hate. Of course, no one would have had to tell the buyers of those department stores which sell this hate NOT to buy those shirts if they had said "blacks are stupid, throw rocks at them", or "gays are stupid, throw rocks at them", or "Muslims are stupid, throw rocks at them"

Men HAVE TO start drawing the same sort of line these other groups have, and making people afraid to bash us with impunity.
