A Mother I know, who was all dressed up in her Haloween costume, held out her little collection box to me and said she was collecting for UNICEF. "Forget it," I said. Don't you know about the sexism that they practice through the U.N. She has a son, and was concerned. Unfortunately she still got some money to help spread the hatred of men and boys. I even gave her and old article from a news source. She read it, and then some material that UNICEF had given her. She then said, "...but they say they don't discriminate."
"Those are only words," I replied, "Clearly their sexist actions have shown that they are misandrists."
What this world needs is a good education in the horrors of the militant feminist agenda, and not more sexist programs like UNICEF's.

Unicef has become an exporter of Gender Feminism that seeks NOT to primarily help children, but to cut and graft Gender Feminism from out of our country to others. I will make this post short and use links to back up my assertions. But this subject is one I have read up on, researched, and am concerned about. I will make statements, post links, and add quotes. If you chose not to read up on it, then, trust me, what i say is not misleading, nor slanted. If you take the links and read up for yourself, its a bit of reading, but opens you eyes. the Gender Feminists are using an aid to CHILDREN organization to supplant their facist, female-centered, and UNFRIENDLY to child/tradtional family message across the globe. This one should really tick you off.
1) UNICEF is no longer a child centered organization. You can read the article here and get part of it. But also there is a well written ADOBE.PDF file. It's long, but shows the whole history of how UNICEF went from CHILD centered to WOMAN centered. The new empahsis is on WOMEN's reproductive rights and "girl children". No mention of boy children is in their new vocabulary.

2) UNICEF is trying to systematically destroy the mother child relationship. It tells women that breatfeeding is a Patriarchal construct to make women "milk cows"
quote: "the emphasis on breastfeeding appeared yet again to compartmentalize women around their maternal roles. Denunciations were rife: were women always to be portrayed in terms of their breasts and as the human equivalent of milking cows?"
both the above and below quotes are 2/3 ways down the page under OPERATION FEMINIST TAKEOVER (this is in the article referred to on Men's Activism link)
and WOMEN as MOTHERS!?: here's a quote:
"that UNICEF needed "to focus on a woman's own priorities . . . rather than decide for her that her children must come first. A woman had a right to be the person she wanted to be, and not be forced into carrying out male-defined stereotypes of who she was or ought to be"
3) UNICEF is exporting the Gender Feminist "males are batterers pseudo-'science'" we here in the US already know is non-science:

Unicef sponsors this organization and it's emphasis is on spreading Gender Feminist Dogma. It tells of males being abusers and promotes same sex relationships. I have to interject here, I am against those relationships, but I defend gay rights. ??? you say. I don't agree with the relationships due to my faith, but I joined gay rights organizations to prevent murder and beatings on the premise of sexual orientation. But I stray from the topic, but so is UNICEF. I don't think UNICEF has ANY business exporting "gender-sexual-orientation-theory" under the guise of CHILDRENS HEALTH ISSUES.

5)UNICEF's #1 STATED goal is the EDUCATION of "girl children". Ummm, how about vaccines and prevention of DEATH!? Look at their site. They crow about creating "girl children's" soccer teams and how they have helped "educate" children and then helped the host government listen to these children for ideas. UNICEF indoctrinates Gender Feminism into a child and then uses that child to ask for aid from the gov't. Aid consisting of what UNICEF directs. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!? They have a whole section for GIRLS, but none for boys:

And when it comes to AIDS they are singing the song about girls being the hardest hit. It's a Gender Feminist site at every turn.
UNICEF is promoting Abortion and women's reproductive rights BEFORE the rights of children. No, I am NOT KIDDING. Look at their sites, read the posts by the article posted on men's activsm, read Carey Robert's article, and read the stuff in the links I left for you. They have NO interest in the best welfare of children. The Gender Feminists are all about exporting their Feminist Theories to all the world. They use the "aid" carrot to switch and bait to get in and then promote Gender Feminist Theory (read: slanted prescripted analysis and studies).
If children are a topic that interests you I urge you to read up on this. It will take time and may be a bit of research, but it will stagger you.

Instead of wasting your money on UNICEF give in the name of a child in your life to an organization in the men's movement to help fight misandry. This is especially important for male children because they are going to inherit the sorry anti male society we live in now if we don't do something about it.
A couple of suggestions would be Fathers 4 Justice if you live in England. Or become a sponsor of the Glenn Sacks Show. NCFM is another very good one.
