John Walsh is every bit the pandering sellout that is Dr. Phylis. After 3 straight years of vilifying men he has one show that is partially sympathetic. I'm sure he will tip toe around and be careful not to make the kind of blanket anti-(fe)male statements he makes for for men. This guy is a useless dolt that is beholden to the fat housewives that eat cheese on the couch and watch him.

I don't watch tv and can't comment on Walsh's previous history on men's issues but I can say that at this point we need exposure in just about any way we can get it. If Walsh will help us get the word out about men and DV then full speed ahead.
Caution is always a good thing when dealing with media types who have a slant/bias they want to push. Simply having a nationally televised show about men and DV that doesn't shame the men will be a huge success.

It seems to me that this should be a perfect opportunity for some of you guys to get out there and tell your stories. Be calm, prepare answers ahead of time, and take advantage of what he is offering.

I have tried for days from a couple of different connections to bring up the Basherville story and all I get is "web site not responding."
Regarding the entire domestic violence industry, it occurs to me that the old saying, "Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely," has never been more true then it is true for this group. They are so entirely unaccountable for their actions, that they have become one of the most, vile, evil, corrupt organizations that is in existence today, They batter and abuse men with impunity, and no one, and I do mean no one, does anything about their criminal cruelties.
I am taking a wait and see attitude about the entire media industry, to see if they speak up and tell the truth, or just lock step with the jack boot feminists who are rampantly destroying the lives of innocent men.

"We are looking for couples dealing with these issues who will share their story to bring enlightenment and hope to couples in similar situations."
Why has this show never taken this approach to domestic violence when women are the victims of domestic violence, and men are the accused batterers?
When the poor woman is a batterer we must help her and "bring enlightenment and hope to the couples," but when the show is on the male gender as batterer, or should I say falsely accused batterer, then the whole d.v. movement just locks him up, and carts the woman off to a shelter. Then after he's out of jail, they send him to batterers classes where the d.v. industry reinforces the "Cycle of Stupidity," concerning the real truth about what goes on in situations of domestic violence.
The last thing men need is more chivalrous inanity painting a fallacious picture about the realities of domestic violence. I will not be watching anymore of Mr. Walshes shows, ever, and urge all men likewise to boycott all misandrist approaches to the oppressions that men face in our society.

"carts the woman off to a shelter."
You've answered your own question here. The show will undoubtably be about trying to get more help for women who are batteres. Never mind that battered men have no shelters.
It will be curious to see if this show accuses men of being the cause of women battering men. It will be curious to see if Mr. Walsh espouses the "evil patriarchy theory" as a cause of domestic violence.
That theory is a part of the "Cycle" they preach.

Opppps!
Make that women who are batterers. They'll not get off the hook that lightly.

Why aren't they looking for couples when men are accused of domestic violence?
Men are just too evil to help I guess. As previous posters have said, "this all smacks of egregious hypocrisy."
