	Chas writes "This story reports one man's experience of Child Support Agency contact. It is used to illustrate the damage done to fathers by the laws governing child support enforcement. Within Australia, the male suicide rate in a single year is now four times that of the total number of Australian soldiers killed in the Vietnam conflict. Fathers' groups around the country claim at least three clients of the CSA commit suicide every day. "Jack" was almost one of them.Read the story here:

Male Marriage Strike in Australia (Score:1) by cshaw on Wednesday July 02, @10:30AM EST (#1) (User #19 Info) http://home.swbell.net/misters/index.html I understand,from an article that I read somewhere, that the men in Australia are on a "marriage strike" in response to the unfavorable socio-political-cultural-legal conditions for married men in Australia. Australian males should continue to refuse to marry unless both the state and Australian females treat males more equitably with regard to the same. However,my experiences in Australia, as an American tourist, has been that Australia is much more "man friendly" than the USA, Australian men are much more assertive towards women than American males, and that Australian females, in general, behave much more equitably towards males than American females.
