But it's supposed to be about fairness, isn't it?

Inequality The Gonzo Kid writes "From the `Things to make ya go hmmm Department:" I find the last line in this whole story very revealing, to wit: "Asked whether she continued the struggle out of a desire for vindication, or in revenge, she said, ''A little of both.'' That's right, you greedy female. Go after the kids from the second marraige. Well, in Boston, it doesn't even end with death, does it?"

It's never about revenge. It's always about the children. Or more properly (and you have to imagine the whiney, nasaly tone) "For the GOOD of the Chiiiiiiiiiiiiildreennnnnnn...."

Well, one more piece of pheminazi propaganda disproven.

If we have sense, men, this is political hay to be made: Consider, a long divorced first wife is raiding an ex-husband's estate, at the expense of the children of the second marriage, and admitted in public record that she is motivated by REVENGE.

Do you realize how profound this is?

When I first read this story I was reminded of Barbara Bush's quip about Geraldine Ferraro (sp?) - "She's something that rhymes with rich and I don't mean witch." Whether or not you agree Ms. Ferraro deserved that the statement fits this woman to a "t".

This just goes to show that the wicked stepmother didn't become a stock figure in folklore by accident.

Without realizing it, I'm sure, this woman is proving the wisdom of this guy who divorced her in the first place.

Can you imagine, she probably remained unmarried all these years just so she could continue to collect the alimony payments, just like so many people don't get jobs so they can continue to collect welfare.

Just a tired old crone who's cutting off her nose to spite her face. No doubt she'll die as bitter and alone as she no doubt is now.

It's just a shame this ex-husband didn't have a smarter lawyer. Maybe the estate should sue that lawyer for malpractice.

What I'd like to see is for this guy's estate to keep this thing tied up in the court system and possibly bankrupt her with legal fees in the process, keeping any money from her until she dies, without her getting another penny.

Don't risk marriage if you're a man???? (Score:0)

Its very funny that communists did everything they could to destroy the marital institution.

Here's what we have in America or basically everywhere these days.

Women are bombarded daily with propaganda telling them that marriage is an oppressive cubicle. That they will likely be beaten to death or treated like dirt day in and day out. The definition of abuse is just about everything under the sun, so in a sence any woman in a relationship with a man is in an "abusive" relationship by default.

Women are constantly told that career and or political thuggary is where its at. That an abortion is basically like going to disneyland, its freeing and liberating.

Men are learning that marriage is not a good place for them. That the point have having children is a moot one simply because they have no say, no imput, no control, nothing. That if a man is accused of being abusive its a done deal, that if a woman is abusive its because she is expressing herself, or retaliating to what he's done to her.

He learns that he has to pay for the kids, pay for lawyers, pay for her and basically take all the shit. Men are obviously discouraged from this lifestyle choice.

The outcome, depopulation and reduced rights for everyone under the *state*.

Can we call this a communist movement afterall?

Very well said Dan. But let us not forget that women as a whole would not have this power over us if it wasn't for the support structure they have composed of tyrannical self-important middle aged males in black robes. And to think we in the West spend billions of dollars each and risk the lives of millions of mostly men to deter foreign depots from doing the same thing! It is insane!
