I have no argument with anything you say in your post, but would like to ask, where is the link to the info on unfair treatment of men in Norway in Domestic Violence?
I agree that the domestic violence industry in America today is a form of terrorism. To bad homeland security doesn't deal with this weapon of man destruction. What we really need is a full independent audit of every aspect of the domestic violence industry. Talk about no accountability. How can something so corrupt get away with what they are doing and not bring the full force of the law down on them?
I don't worry about Al Quaida, the domestic violence industry has already done more damage to American people, than they likely ever will.

The literary quality of the subject matter on the MA.org home page have gone from informed (academic) issues to rants like this topic that now fill up the homepage. Personal opinions can be expressed in the "post comment area" hateful angry rants on the homepage make us all look bad.
The point made about DV was good, all of the subjective hate garble is pointless.
lets strive to keep the quality that Scott maintained on this site up...

Tell it to the people who run the domestic violence industry. It's the core of their program. Everything they are revolves around hate, power and control of men. Get a grip on the reality of it.

I also have noticeded the trend that you have mentioned.
I think part of the problem more and more of the posts on the homepage are about what I, and many, would consider trivial matters. All it's really doing is making us look like a bunch of whiners.
An example would be the post about male-bias in walmarts, or before that about a vacuum cleaner commercial.
I think what you need to understand is that if you want to kill the whole problem, you attack it at its roots, not individual little trivial matters.
Let's just pretend, for the sake of my post, that Wal-Mart really is openly biased against males. I'm sure that if you complained about it long enough, you probably could get Wal-Mart to change its ways, but that's just Wal-Mart...2 weeks later, now maybe K-Mart goes anti-male. Do you see what I'm saying? We need to kill the roots of the problem.

By day I manage the warranty repair and assembly area of a small computer manufacturer.
Some nights and weekends I help host a men's group which deals with casualties of the gender war.
Host is the best word I can come up with. We meet in rotating places, on as needed basis. Sometimes we rent out a banquet hall, sometimes we meet in the park, in a home.
See, we got locked out of most public places. The pheminuts find us, write letters, shrilly complain with the usual chant of "racist, sexist, homophobe" crap, and next thing you knew, bam, oh, sorry. A - ummmm - er -- GUM WRAPPER (That's the ticket!) was left on the floor; you're too messy.
Yeahsureyoubetcha. We got protested, meetings crashed, for a while we got fifth columned when the "inclusiveness" virus hit the group and for a few months it was demanded that we let women come; naturally it was predictable, they were the "real victims" and we were just "whiners."
You know, all the time we hear about "women" in "abusive" relationships, about how they are "bullied" into thinking it's all their fault. Gents, I submit that the male species is in the same boat. Look about.
First thing that the therapists teach these broads is that it's okay to be angry. That they don't deserve to be treated like that, and it's with good reason because deciding you're mad, and resolving that it is okay to be mad is step one of being able to deal with it, to channel it into something productive. Fail to do so, and the results are predictable, because if you repress it it grows like a cancer, an infection, fevering, festering - and you wind up NOT dealing with it, and in almost invariably explodes into something non-productive, until your rage boils over and uyou slap the snot out of some dumb bitch who has been baiting you to do it for months, or take a shotgun to the car you bought her, or camp outside her work telling all and sundry what a whore she is until she comes out to just freakin talk to you...
...Like has happened time and time and time again to the men in the group I help run.
News flash, guys. Know why the pheminuts make sure to stop off here on a now and again and slap a little shaming language our way? Know what Lorrianne, or little Seagull Pheminazi (Flies in, squawks, shits all over the place and leaves) comes in to belittle us? It's because if we ever get mad, (And I'm talking the towering, righteous rage that makes you roll up your sleeves and turn your hat around, and get to work, not the punch the wall pissed off) then pheminism is doomed.
Can't have that. So every time ya'll start working up a good mad, here comes the cries of "Whiners!"
This is why we are "non-inclusive." This is why we don't allow women in our meetings, and why we take the wind out of the sails of mockery and shaming language by calling ourselves the "Top-Secret He-Man Women Haters Club - No Grrlz Allowed." Rule one is: Get Mad and Laugh at Yourself. Rule two? If you don't like something, see rule one.
Now I'm not going to get into a huge debate about whether "Page One" is the place for rants, but I will tell you something true and for sure - nothing pisses me off more than a pheminist than some man who is poisoned by the chivalrist doctrine of "suck it up - stiff upper lip - and take it like a man!" That kind of stoic, accept the yoke and shackles and get thee to the fields bullshit is exactly why we men are where we are at today.
I really think that what we need is some kind of second tier at this site; a men only, track and display your ip, account required discussion board where we can (A) conduct private business and (B) be free to speak as men among men without worrying about whether or not some pheminut is going to get her thong in a knot, and finally (C) say what's on our minds without fear of what "The World" will think.
So until we get somewhere on that, look bad or not, I'm not going to take issue with a man who decides to vent rather than bottle it up until he explodes, does something stupid, and falls into the trap that the pheministas have set, while they giggle at catching another male in their bullshit.

Pete, I agree 110%. I've posted stuff on here myself that has been removed for fear that the pheminutz would use it in the future for...God knows what. Hate speech prosecution? Fer cryin' out loud, the politically korrect bullshit is only going to go away when we not only ignore it, but get nose-to-nose with it and constantly tell it, "goodbye, go away now, don't care what ya say or think, we're doin' it anyway." At least a place of your description would help, not hurt.

I've talked to old feminist activists and they said they used to get together and do what they called "rat raging" and it was intended as a motivational/confidence building strategy, as well as a healthy outlet. It is important to distinguish resentment, from anger. Resentment is demoralizing,as anger and righteous rage is the fuel of the machine. Although, like any good machine, it must do some useful work.
Btw, as for me, I don't care that much about the "literary quality"of this site." This isn't the New Yorker, for Pete's sake.

I think that the men's movement finally needs to get itself into the warrior stage. This requires getting over *resentment* at the fact that feminists and the world aren't fair to us. They never will be. Until we make them stop. Its war. So rage! It's ok. It's safe to rage.
