I remember a long time ago reading where someone hit another person with a fish and was arrested for "assault with a deadly weapon." I was incredulous at the time, but have read other similar accounts from time to time where just about anything seems to be considered a "deadly weapon" when used in such a way.
It's sad what men have to put up with before getting some semblance of justice when a woman is perpetrating the violence.
