I'm a 20-year old man. When I read in this article that men in the age group of 20-25 were the most likely to view other men as pussy-whipped (my term, not the article's), I was pleased. It gave me an incredible amount of hope for men my age. I agree with these men.
I often see middle-aged and older men as those who have taken 3-inch, spiked, high-heel shoes and given them to their female counterparts, and then have layed down on the ground in front of these women and asked to walked on. I've come to realize that I don't give a damn about previous generations of men, either.

Grammatical Correction:
"asked to walked on" should read "asked to be walked on"

Good for you, Josh.
I'll repeat what I've written elsewhere on this board. I'm a history buff, and I can't think of a group of people ever, who have been more egregiously betrayed by their parents' generation than today's young men and boys. Of all the women of my generation that I have known personally, and there have been many hundreds, there have been two or three who have ever spoken out against anti-male hatred and lies. I have also known only two or three men of my generation who have ever spoken out against the evil.
With almost no exceptions, women of your parents' generation continue to either actively promote anti-male fascism or happily allow it to stand without comment as they reap its benefits -- full rights, endless privileges, near complete absolution from responsibility. With almost no exceptions, men of your parents' generation do whatever they can to get women to pat them on the head and tell them that they're good little exceptions, that they're almost women. (Keep trying little boy. Maybe someday.) They don't give a damn about other men, who are crushed by fascist feminism. They just want their petty little lives to be easier at any cost to others.
Tom Brokaw may be rights that the World War II generation was the greatest of generations. I often suspect that baby boomers are the worst generation.
It seems to me that youths, as they mature, want to reject many of the values of their parents' generation -- to feel superior to their parents' generation. It's a part of maturing and forming one's own beliefs and building on the past. Well, you may have more reason for doing this than any other group of young adults in history.
I, too, hold hope for the men your age. I'm starting to get to know some men your age, at the place where I work out, and they are some of my favorite people. They possess an incipient, but undeniable, pride in being men, and there is among them a growing revolutionary fervor.
Despite what conservatives say, because of advances in reproductive technology, very soon men and women won't need each other. You don't need to marry a woman. You don't need to live with a woman. You don't need to have children. And you certainly don't have to grovel for people, who despise you because you were born outside of their female biological group.
Don't be spineless fools. You see where that got your fathers. Stand up to the evil. You can be real men, even if your fathers weren't.

Hell, add to that "today's young women and girls."

I am a middle aged man, that has never sacrificed my dignity, nor my nature. For the impetuous youth to discount wisdom that has been earned throughout lifes journey is egotistical, and foolhardy. I for one wish that I had listened to certain things a little more closely. I challenge the youth of today to live a life of sacrifice as I have to stand by my beliefs' and personal integrity. It ain't easy young man, and those that discount history will always pay the price.
