I first heard of this site on some ridiculous talk show on tv..I think it was Ricky Lake. Not sure, only had the boob on cuz I was fixing a late breakfast. Well, I sure it was hostile, but I saw the young lady webmistress on the show. She's married, has a new kid, and seemed reasonable. Anyway, I should mention she also runs I Hate Women.com which is one of the links at the very bottom of the links section.
These pages are mostly for bitching by one sex about the other; they are not meant to be hard core feminist/masculist, nor to be taken with more than a grain of salt.

I'm sorry, maybe I don't have a sense of humor, but I find the insensitivity of this site to painful subject matter about as funny as some kids burning a cross on somebody's lawn.

Why in the serious section on the 'Women' site are there 'facts' about DV? There does not appear to be an equivalent section on the 'Men' site.
Actually, as far as I can tell on the 'Men' site there isn't even a serious section.

I stand corrected. Part of the site is apparently not a joke. I only read some of it. I must point out, however, that on the talk show ( I remember now it was about men who let women walk all over them and how they should stop doing that) it was said that the lady who runs this site took it over from someone else, and that she added the IHateWomen site on her own, due to a suggestion by her husband.

This is no joke to me.
Just imagine a site called ihateblacks.com. It's just for fun. Just to allow whites to vent their frustrations with blacks. Bullshit.
The site as it stands encourages blame and victimization. Venting is in itself NOT HELPFUL. Taking responsibility is helpful. Evaluating behaviors or people that you want to avoid is helpful. Blaming everyone for your own crap is a very poor joke and a joke that tends to perpetuate the behaviors that you want to avoid.
BTW this woman is a DV worker. Duh. She may have looked harmless to you but I wouldn't put that label on her. She may be unconscious but she is far from harmless.

Why is it that I have this suspicion that she put up the IHATEWOMEN.COM page as camoflage? I mean, for everyone who criticizes her about the IHATEMEN.COM site, she could allege her own egalitarianism by pointing there, couldn't she? Yet I suspect that if you had a counter on each, you'd find that the IHATEWOMEN page gets very few hits. Hey, not her fault, right? Pausible deniability.

I am shocked at the lack of lady like discretion that some feminists intentionally stoop to in an attempt to insult and humiliate a man. "Hell hath no fury like a woman who perceives she is scorned," goes double for feminists. As we see, feminism is not about mutual respect, it is about virulent hate and monumental hypocrisy used to try and exert power and control over men.
It is true that we are opposed to many things feminism stands for and would like to see men's rights given equal consideration in law. The more immediate strong desire for most men in regards to feminism could be most aptly described by using the analogy of a little boy who has been playing happily away in the backyard, but unfortunately he has stepped in something the dog left behind and is NOW yelling frantically, "Get it off me!" I know that's how I feel about it, and maybe that's how you felt about being sent that insulting cyber-poopie.

I could easily look the other way on this one if it wasn't for a few philosophical reasons. First, because she is also involved in "I Hate Women.com" does not help, or diminish the gender war already in full swing. Don't dismiss her accountabilty. In other words, be careful of accepting the "two wrongs make a right" mentality. Second, in a link to an interview, she explained that everyone should know that she is not really hardcore anti-male, because after all, she is married, has two boys and male friends. So if I created a web-site that's called "I Hate Jews", I'm excluded from being a bigot because I have a few Jewish friends? Third, this women is a professional counselor!?! If the state in which she practices found out about her web-site and it's sexist content, I'm sure she could lose her professional licence. (The state of Illinois barred Matt Hale, who runs a white supremacist web-site, from obtaining his licence to practice law due to his beliefs.) Anybody out there have a friend who is a private investigator?

In reading over the "quotes for man haters" on this site it becomes pretty clear that this is a site dedicated to widening the rift between men and women. It's all about men as the problem and women as the victim, woman as the superior being and man as the inferior being. It appears to be a page were women can share and find solace in their mutual negativity (misery loves company).
It is sad that there fails to be any kind of proactive approach to finding individual happiness for the woman or harmony between the sexes.

Just keep in mind that any person or people who define themselves by their enemies is\are a miserable lot, to be sure.
They are never happy. because as long as they are defineing themselves by their preceived enemy(s) there is no time for happiness, because every moment of their lives is consumed by constant vigilance and hatred of this enemy. Any and every movement thier enemy makes is precieved as a threat, every word spoken by their enemy is an insult. they lay in wait for their enemy to simply blink so they can attack them.
They cannot define THEMSELVES by their OWN achievments, only by the precieved wrongs done to them by their enemy.
As angry as I get at feminists, I really do pity them, at times.
I think every feminist should read "Don Quixote".
...But they probably wouldn't learn anything or see the parallel to themselves. Even though it SHOULD be obvious.
Or they could just watch a "Mr Magoo" cartoon, I guess.

I'm not a lawyer, but my understanding is that legal
remedies are available for "hate speech" when it
- threatens or intimidates and
- is directed at specific individuals.
So if someone at IHateMen.com threatens or intimidates you, talk to a lawyer about legal remedies.

If I ever did decide to date again, and I likely WON'T, I'd probably date a woman freshly from Japan.
I'm sorry but I have NEVER found even one White, Black, Mexican or even American-Indian woman that didn't hold at least some misandristic views on men. Our medias in America, Canada and Great Britan have indoctrinated women in man-hate bigotry for so long, now, I don't think there will ever be any getting them back. At least not for several generations. If even then.

I've painfully come to the same conclusion, even though I have denied and resisted believing it every step of the way. I wanted my fantasy of what we were taught women were to be real, but I have been deceived by Hollywood movies and television shows. Men are human beings with needs as well as women, but this is not equally acknowledged in any area of our “enlightened” society.
Today, a man's need for respect for the hard work and sacrifices he makes are nothing more than targets for insult and humiliation. Not only are men targeted by feminists, but by a majority of females as well as others throughout our Western society. The bashing of the Western male has taken hate to an all new level, and it has been done in the guise of feminism, chivalry, romance, political correctness and fair and balanced reporting.
It is truly a blessing that men have a place like men's activism, where they can come in from the storm of abuse they are assailed with, and find comfort in kindred spirits who understand their travails. One of the greatest reassurances and comforts that I have these days are the insights of honest men like yourself that I read right here on these pages. We are not crazy even though we have been severely tested by the mental tortures described above. We are band of decent men still trying to know and do the right thing under very adverse societal conditions. Hang in there brother.
