Announcements Dan Lynch writes "Since Feburary is the month of Erin Pizzey's birthday I would like to post as much of her writings and contributions as I can find. If you don't already know who Erin is I will link her bio here. I feel its very important that we all get to know this dynamic woman who has challenged adversity for decades for the sole purpose of improving our lives. Both men and women."

Here is an interview with Erin Pizzey just last week by Joe Manthey at Mens News Daily. The mp3 is available here:

http://mnd.xenterra.net/manthey/JoeManthey0127.mp3

You can also go to

to see the Joe Manthey Show page, which includes the archive with many good shows.

Pizzey is one incredible woman and this is one of the most interesting interviews I have ever listened to. She has been saying since the beginning, when she founded the first womens shelter in England, that most domestic violence is two-way. In the interview she noted that of the first 100 women in her shelter, 62 were violent, not battered. She also started shelters for men!

I forget the exact quote, but she says something to the effect that the past 30 years has been a devastating war on men and boys. One of the best statements of this point that I've seen.

I am going to listen to it again and jot down some of her key points. Something to share with people who just don't get it. Does anyone know whether transcripts of the MND shows are available?

Anyone that is a humanist should be applauded! Specifically a woman that chooses to think for herself! We are all in this together, and if we do not work together the outcome will be devastating for our future. History has shown that the way to brainwash a populace is through the children, and we have stood by and allowed it to transpire. Not only here, but across the globe, am I the only one that feels fear?

...am I the only one that feels fear?

Not at all. It sometimes seems as if the lunatics are taking over the asylum. The creation of unjust laws and the promotion of fear and suspicion towards large sections of the population are deeply worrying developments. I'm also troubled by the almost total lack of concern shown by the 'liberal' media, who are experts at making excuses for their compliance with what seems to be a growing 'will to tyranny'. The belief that drastic problems require drastic measures can be turned to any purpose simply by creating a belief in an appropriate 'drastic problem' - which can be clearly seen in domestic violence and family law. Justifications are often 'reverse engineered' from feelings - so, the reasoning goes, if I feel bad about men it must mean they did something to make me feel that way. I think a lot of misandry stems from this reverse-engineering of feelings. Almost any nonsense about men in the past, the present, and in other countries is accepted because it fits how people feel towards men. Anything which doesn't fit those feelings has a much harder time getting accepted, assuming people are willing to listen at all.

Eventually things will have to change, but that might not happen for some time. All we can do is keep working to bring the destruction of manhating another day nearer. People like Erin Pizzey are important allies in this fight.
