Leave it to the Irish to see through and not put up with B.S.
The evil scam know as domestic violence law is going to come down like a house of cards in a tornado. It's really good to see the wind picking up.

I remember reading an article a while back that stated that Ireland is about the only country that is now looking at Domestic Violence as a two way street.

I think this could qualify as a kind of 1st comandment of the Men's Movement. All I would add to this statement by Amen is Amen.
“One of the reasons why we have such bad and unbalanced law in this case is that only one side have been allowed an input to the formulation of family laws and policies. Men's organisations and men's experiences were excluded. In the formulation of policy or legislation on domestic violence or any other family or social issue it is imperative that, in future, men's representatives and men's organisations be involved on an equal basis with women's representatives and women's organisations.”
“There are many other flaws in this Act and we can can contribute to a solution if those who control and monopolise the discourse are prepared to allow others to participate and articulate their experiences, as would happen in a true democracy.”

The importance of this cannot be understated. For 30 years, Irish judges have slavishly followed the feminist line. At last, they have faced down the feminists. One swallow doesn't make a summer, but all the evidence is that the tide is turning

This Irish decision also shows that Bill C 117 in ontario is also 'unconstitutional'.
I mean I knew that, everyone else knew that, I just wasn't sure if Judges knew that.
We shall see its fate unfold.

Dan.
You got that right, brother!
Heck, the bulk of DV laws are unconstitutional, where ever one lives in 'western scociety'.
The big problem is, It seems like it doesn't matter if the JUDGES know they are unconstitutional, or not. I think it's simply because they do not CARE...!
Thundercloud.

I think that the truth of the matter is that a.) they have been indoctrinated by dv councilors in dv seminars that teach judges how they should do their job. and b.) they are afraid of social outburst.

I'm not in a position to do this, but has anyone thought about holding equivalent seminars? There has to be sympathetic judge or two out there who might form enough of an attendance base to start.
Just another random thought...
