MSNHatesMen.com Still Not Working
posted by Scott on Monday July 15, @10:07PM
from the web-links dept.
Web Links Raymond Cuttill writes "MSNHatesMen.com, the ecard site conceived as an antidote to the male-bashing ecards at MSN is still not up. Claims by hostonce.com that the problem has been fixed turn out to be wishful thinking or only temporary. Hostonce.com is either the most incompetent webhosting company ever or lying. Alternatives are being considered. MSNHatesMen will live!"

The first clue is the big "MICROSOFT CERTIFIED SOLUTION DEVELOPER" logo they have on their main page.

They're not going to bite the hand that feeds them, especially when its Micro$oft's -- they bite back, and hard.

M$ is intolerant of _any_ critisism, and will go to extreme lengths to suppress or censor it. I'll bet they'd think nothing of cancelling all the authorizations and certifications of a hosting company who dared to allow critical content.

M$ sure didn't get to where they are today on the quality of their software. They got there by bullying, threats, lies, illegal and monopolistic business practices, and occasional outright theft.

Get your money back from HostOnce and go find a nice Unix/Linux based hosting site -- they'll be glad to have your business, and probably supportive of your content. (And the service will be more dependable and _much_ more secure.)

Sounds a bit like the practices the Scientologists use to censor critics.
