Sex, Equality, And Kidding Ourselves

Inequality Philalethes writes "Most of the stories posted on MANN document the insanity of our times, but few consider the background: how did we get here, and why? This article is not an in-depth analysis, but it's a good start, and raises some serious questions worth considering: Today men are accountable for their behavior. Women are not. The lack of accountability, seldom clearly recognized, is the bedrock of much of today's feminist misbehavior, influence, and politics."

...is correct and understandable. It's basically what Esther Vilar said nearly 35 years ago. (BTW: I have the first three of her essays from The Manipulated Man scanned, for anyone interested).

More important is what do we do about it? There is no doubt we CAN change the system, but to what? And, Are We willing to pay the price that change requires?

Are YOU willing to be chained? Beatten? Flogged? Change may well require such horrid things. Are you willing to put your children, nieces/nephews and younger siblings at risk of civil war? Forcing change at a crisis point does indeed put us at risk of civil war.

It's far past time to aks those questions. Just how badly do YOU want change and what change do YOU want?
