Someone who has considerable experience with men's issues in the media told me that most
producers are women and they often spike pro-guy programs. He gave me the impression that the media's anti-guy bias is systemic.

CBS, of all networks, I have to commend them of helping people ridding them of these suicidal, child-molesting wifebeater maniacs! It should make these stupid, abusive men [assholes...I mean, not men] think twice about abuse! Any way that you put it whether he's abusing, or being abused, he's never gonna win! The battered wife and the molested wayward child should tear off that lace curtain and make this abusive, suicidal preacher smut choke on it!
Or in Nickelback's case [according to the song, NEVER AGAIN], "Kicking your [the man's] ass would be my pleasure!!!!!!!"

Here you have a couple of "experts", (and I guess their years in the feild has made them experts, not any university or certification). Telling us they don't know anything about female on male violence, (which I expierienced on friday night, so I guess that makes me an expert), but that "whatever anyone is telling you about Female on Male violence is WRONG." I'm paraphrasing of course, but isnt that odd??? They are saying "We don't deal with males who are abused, but we know the numbers are not (50% in hetrosexual relationships)that high, and if they were its because the women were defending themselves." still paraphrasing. They offer nothing to back up what they say in arguement but simply denounce the notion that men are ever victims (or extremely rare), then tell us "we have no experience". Then they go on to tell us that their program has a high dropout rate, so what is their solution. Make it mandatory!!! (so we can get more funding and force them to endure our brain conditioning techniques that we have just proven don't work, but its either this or jail if sanctioned) Does this sound a little "1984" for anyone??? Or was it "Clockwork Orange"? Where they tried to reprogram people to act they way they "should". The REASON your program doesnt work, Sara Elinoff and Russ Bradbury Carlin, is because it is so hypocritical and denouncing of the "TRUTH" that your client's minds and bodies are literally "REJECTING" it. These men know what has happened and they know very well that in many of the cases they did not start the fight, nor are they completely to blame. And in fact they feel like they are the victim, who had no choice, either financially or relatively, to plead guilty or except full responsibility despite their version because of the fact that people like you do not take the time to look at the other side. Don't get me even started on the "men lie" routine that is submitted as arguement, because its nothing more than pre-emptive striking garble that creates the guilty before innocent that the prosicution relies on so much with their less then weak cases. Its propaganda and its wrong. You jump the gun and blame the man and tell him its all his fault he's evil and that he should stop. Meanwhile he's sitting there trying to listen to you but inward he knows "This shit aint gonna work, she's gonna start slapping me again cause I lost my job or she thinks I was with Rhonda on last tuesday and Im not gonna take it , and Im gonna hit her back again." But you don't hear that cause you only hear what you want just like when a song comes on the Radio that you don't like you simply change the channel or turn the volume down. It's entertainment to you. Just like CBS to play(market) to their viewers, it's entertainment it isnt news it's Trash and the reason its so one sided is because demigraphs have told them thats who watches their shows and those are their interests and fears, its nighttime drama. And its no surprise that Radio stations are starting to talk more about violence against men, they know men are their market. Nobody is really interested in stopping violence they are interested in what they can sell out of it. So media wise, its become a battle of the STATISTICS and the winner is the side who gets more air time. Its masterbation at best. Sara and Russ, you hear what you want to hear and disregard what you NEED to hear in order to solve the problem because it doesnt suit your "veiw" or "THE VEIW". It takes a big man to admit when he's wrong, what does it take for a women? As far as the battle of the statistics Im hoping all this will push for a very large scale and extremely objective research model. Which will be difficult to get since the power balance has be uneven so long as one side is grotesquely funded over the otherside, and to many people are dependant on a one sided result. But even if one was done fairly that represented both sides equally and unbiased unfortunately it will end up to be more like homework instead of entertainment "masterbation" or just brain trash. Man, this response seems to have become automatic:
"Oh, I'm sure there are men out there who are abused by women. But it is nowhere near 50%, I have my own store of statistics that contradict that. And really, most of the time that is self-defense, or retaliation for other forms of abuse they've received."
For one thing, these people aren't the best to consider on whether or not female-on-male abuse happens, they run a center for men, they primarily work in the ideal that MEN need their counseling.
In fact, I wouldn't consider these people for much of anything, their success rate is 15%?! If a business only sold 15% of it's products, it would be out of business very quickly. Instead, these people get support because they are 'helping abused women' however lousily they do it. People are mandated to go to this counseling, when obviously for the vast majority of the time it doesn't work.
One more thing, they don't have services for women who abuse their male SOs, but they have counselled lesbians who have abused their female SOs? Is it only possible to counsel someone if they abuse someone of a specific gender?
