There is an org that is actively lobbying for changes in the laws that allow child protective services agencies to destroy families.
Currently 3000 children are removed from their homes every day, and placed in 'baby jail.' Many never see their families again. The state receives a bounty for each child they are able to successfully remove and adopt out--as much as $100,000 total in some cases.
AFTER>2001 is fighting to change this. They are at http://after2001.freeservers.com/
URLs for groups that provide help and moral support to individual familes are at my site,

I cam across a professor at the University of Winnipeg who has done extensive writing on the connection between feminism and communism. His research provides numerous links to the origins of feminism and their connection to communist Russia in around the 1920s. While I can't remember his name at the moment, it is worthwhile to consider the connection. Communism and feminism are really two sides of the same coin in their treatment of men, women, assets, children, policy, and numerous other areas. It's food for thought.

I wouldn't doubt seeing a lot of connections, early Feminism and Communism did tend to run together in supporters [as did anarchists]. And in last 30 years or so, a lot of measures that are touted as supportive of women are communist (or socialist) in ramifications - mostly with the image of the poor starving mother working to death to feed her child because her dastardly husband ran out at some point.
But what do you want us to consider? That if we don't like communists we shouldn't like feminists? And which part of feminism? The political scene like the one mentioned above that "must be resolved" type of attitude, usually with the intent of 'enslaving' the father to child support, making a lot of money magically available from the government to pay for supporting the child, and slashed job standards for women so she can, in theory, seek out a job to pay for all that herself?
Or, the nice happy ideal of men and women should be considered equal. The one that some feminists intrepret as making opportunity equal, even if it doesn't make sense.
