Both Dilbert and Non Sequitur have been featuring cartoons favorable to men. I think this is the very first hint that people are starting to listen.

Check out Non Sequitur as well at: http://dailynews.yahoo.com/h/cx/uc/nq

It is so true. I work in a "professional" work environment and I can't tell you how many times I've heard women employees stereotype men in an open and flagrant manner. I far less often here the married women rant like the "climbers"

Although it doesn't bother me, if the situation were reversed - it would be lawsuit city because we have a "man-hater" HR VP who acts like she runs the company, yet she adds no real value to it.

The cartoon kinda reminds me of her.

Yikes! That man hating woman boss reminds me of my former abusive supervisor, who made my life hell for 3 years. She would hire and promote women in her image (she asked a male coworker if she should hire a man or women for a position one time ... I believe that's illegal). She would say things like "we're sending you [all] to diversity training ... there's too many white males in [our agency]." She called me things like "boy" when I was in my 30's. She was constantly all over me, and would berate me over the pettiest things while I was trying my best to do a good job.

Thank God that I got out of her unit a couple of years ago. I started documenting her abuse, and brought it to the attention of the top person at my workplace. Funny thing ... she became much more polite after that, and I finally got transferred to another unit.

I'm not the only one who has been subjected to her mistreatment. She was notorious for her anti-male attitude with other men. Fortunately, she finally "stepped down" from being a supervisor last year, and is now in a different section of my workplace.

My experience with this woman was part of my inspiration for starting "Stop Anti-Male Bias" last year. This Yahoo club must have touched a nerve with many other men, as it now has well over 100 members. If you want to check it out, the web address is:

Very funny strips. I like the one where the employee makes the best out of his situation by yelling, "I'm a MAN!"

We have to give kudos to Scott Adams. her deserves it.

"Female men's activist" is not an oxymoron.

Heh heh. And her reaction captures, I think, the essence of what man-haters really hate about men: "STOP ENJOYING LIFE!" :)

A deep breath and a satisfied smile: We are mainstream. Now we just need to avoid degenerating the way that feminism has.

i wouldn't go as far as saying men's rights are mainstream. perhaps there's more light shone on the issues at hand. but that's a far cry from serious attention.

I don't say this to argue. Certainly, we are still a small movement, and, given the tremendous power and hatefulness of mainstream feminism, we have a huge task before us. Nevertheless, I truly believe that there are good reasons for optimism on our part and the part of all honest, egalitarians today.

actually, the point i was making is that the content on pvp is an example of the doublestandard that says that women can hit men freely. i'm not sure what interpretation of that you're taking. it was a counter-example in the small discussion of whether or not men's rights have become pervasive in our society.
