False Accusations Remo writes "This article is from a Japanese newspaper, and it deals with the abuse of Japan's new laws on harassment in the workplace. I wonder why they didn't look at the U.S. first, and see an example of how NOT to write these laws?"

If you read some of the other stories in that WaiWai column you'll notice they tend to be lurid and nonsensical. I'd take this cum grano salis.

Hi there

The article may well need to be taken with a pinch of salt. However, I'm afraid that it is only by the dissemination of such 'exaggerations' that the true nature of the sex harrassment laws may be properly exposed to the general public - which is not much interested in serious politics or gender issues.

Feminists have used every trick in the book to highlight their issues - and especially fictional works, e.g. portraying men as violent abusers in films and soaps, and also in comedies, where men are mostly portrayed as idiots. The whole spectrum of communication has been used by feminists and their supporters.

And so, with regard to this particular article, the more that the tabloid press gets involved in supporting men's rights (directly or otherwise) the better - even if their stories are completely fictional and over the top.

Yes, I agree. That website is a joke. Whilst I do believe that there may be some truth in the article, I wouldn't ever use it as a reference.

People tend to take advatage of loopholes in the law: People tend to abuse.

The lack of protection for males in all areas of gender law has created this and many other forms of bad behaviour on the part of women. This is why our ancestors wanted all laws to be double checked and have some effort at fairness. As gender-feminism is about removing fairness and equality we should not be surprised by reports like this.

Unless we act and act fast we will have many many more men severely harmed which will result in more male suicides taking the "other" with them which will result in more unfair laws which will result in more male suicides taking the... It is a nasty downward spiral.

I agree with Greg.
