Inequality In an excellent example of what happens when only one side of an issue gets all the media attention, the Bush administration has pledged U.S. tax dollars for the relief of Afghan women and children who suffered under the Taliban. Never mind, apparently, the young boys who were conscripted and the men who were murdered.

I will say in his defense that, during his speech at the signing ceremony, he made equal mention of the hardships of women AND men.

It wasn't that long ago that human rights abuses led to outrage often followed by relief to victims, even when those victims were men.
