More Outcry Over Sommers Treatment

Censorship Neil Steyskal and Subversive both sent in this link to some more commentary in the National Review about the abhorrent treatment of Christina Hoff-Sommers at the CSAP forum. The whole episode is doing a lot to the CSAP's discredit, and is rightly turning into an enormous negative campaign against them.

That's all I can say. Finally someone is telling the truth and is trying to do something about it!

I have heard CSAP characterized as being staffed largely by "recovering alcoholic f*ckups and silly social worker types." Girl Power is quite the darling of this particularly ineffectual government anti-drug organization. And just like in the case of DARE, whenever questions are raised about its measured effectiveness in drug abuse prevention or actually we should say the lack thereof, those questioning are treated with this brutal sort of censorship. (I don't know any of this to be true, I'm only letting you know what I've heard.) There is definitely a story here for the clever reporter who would like to attack stupidity within a government bureaucracy in an article.
