did anyone else notice that men had to die for 4 of 6 awards to be given out?

...or just blinded with misandry?

My guess is a mixture of both. It's nothing new for misandrist women to celebrate the murder and torture of men, though: witness Thelma & Louise, Waiting to Exhale, and--most recently--Town & Country. Look in any Hallmark store or American Greetings greeting cards and you're going to find the same unfortunate thing: misandrist women who believe men deserve to die.

ON greetings cards? Wow. I'll have to check that out. I don't get out much.

Dan, here are some samples:
American Greetings: they've reproduced the "you're not pushing hard enough on the pillow" murder "joke" numerous times. They've also advocated cutting off penises: "Men: can't live with 'em, can't hack off their penises without going to jail." Hallmark likewise has printed hateful and misandrist "jokes" for quite a number of years now. All throughout the 1990s, in fact.

see angryharry's website for further information on this -- under the "tickertape" section
apparently the "victim" had been torturing this man for years, and she burned him to death when he threatened to leave her
for this, the Smiling Faces bestowed their award -- take a very, very close look into the face of the "victim" in the photo -- if i saw her heading toward me in an alley i'd run for my life
this smells for all the world like a classic case of domestic terrorism perpetrated by the female "victim" against her male "oppressors"
it only differs in degree from hanging our dicks in effigy in their public buildings
