"Deadbeat Dads" Myth Gets a Good Debunking

Fatherhood Men who don't pay child support are neglectful and irresponsible, right? Right? Not necessarily so, according to this article on Salon.com. Specifically, this article deals with the problems generated by the perception that low-income black fathers "don't care about their children," and reveals that other circumstances often contribute to the non-payment of child support. Unfortunately, the author's article does claim that Men, women, liberals and conservatives all feel fairly comfortable in reviling deadbeat dads. I think "all" is too general a term here. Anyone else?

I don't think "all" is too general here, because it follows the list rather than preceeding it. So it says that all these groups feel comfortable doing so, not that all members of these groups feel comfortable doing so. The former is true in my opinion.
