By the way, as a single man I have always done my own grocery shopping. In spite of ideas to the contrary, there have always been a large number of men in the grocery stores I frequent. Nowadays, though, I can tell you that I feel like I see more men sharing the aisles with me in Food Lion and Kroger than women.
With the number of marriages that fail these days and the number of people choosing to remain single, I would think we would be seeing about the same number per sex at any given time.
Perhaps women just shop on different days? :)

I'm married, and my wife is quite picky about her feminine hygiene. The safest thing (ie, requiring least argument afterward) is to have her write down the EXACT item she wants. If they do not have the exact item, I do not buy it. End of story.
I'm the same way about a few products, but I imagine that women are very particular with these. Let's face it, it is something that comes in contact with a pretty sensitive area. They have every right to be picky.
